This is a contest where you draw adult pictures of MMBN characters. An example would be at the end of MMBN 6 when Lan tells info that happened in 20 years. I want you to draw like adult Lan, Mayl, Dex, Yai, Mick, and etc. You can draw what the aged net-navis can look like. You can give drawings similar clothe styles or totally different ones. For this contest there are three judges Dr. Cossack, Breakman, and myself. Here are the rules.

The rules are:

• 1. No spam.
  
• 2. No criticism on others work.
  
• 3. Be polite on others work.
  
• 4. No plagiarizing. (Even changing the looks on another work and submitting it.)
  
• 5. Judges can't be a contestant, but can show art anyways.
  
• 6. You can draw work from "Paint".
  
• 7. If a friend drew it (whether their not a member or are) and doesn't wont to do a thing with the contest that is allowed, but you must directly say that your art follows rule seven (and say member name if so).
  
• 8. You can draw Patch (only as a kid)
  
• 9. This might be a strange rule but deal with it. You can change their hair color if you wish you can give adult guys beards and mustaches, EXCEPT Patch.
  
• 10. You may submit two artworks for the contest. At the end the highest ranking one will be representing yourself and that one will be in the contest ranking, we will give out the rankings for second one. If you submit for than two artworks, state which ones are for the contest and ones for display.
  
• 11. Have fun.
  

I cant decide on a good size for the pictures. So for now just make it an appropriate size please . As for a time limit a couple months sounds reasonable. Maybe 'til December 1st, I might shorten the deadline. After the contest is over you can always put art here for display. As for how your art gets points each judge gives each artwork a ranking from 1-10 (including decimal points). After you post your artwork we wont say your point ranking. At the end all the judges points for each person will be counted up and the winners will be declared. So without further ado, BEGIN!

Erm.. it seems pretty dumb to not allow criticism... Critique is a very good way to get better at drawing, and art in general.. I'd still be drawing crappy big-eyed disproportionate anime characters if it wasn't for critique.

And, it's "plagiarizing", if you don't know how to spell something, all you need to do is spellcheck in works, or google search, and it tends to give you the proper spelling.

Not that there's anything wrong with big eyes, Shadowfire. The crappy technique never seems to put out much quality artwork, though. :hehe:

Now here's my problem: how can we only draw Patch as a kid? Why can't we give Patch a mustache or beard? I don't see why Patch is such a restricted character. Furthermore, I'm not sure how anyone can draw Patch at all if we can only draw him as a kid, seeing as how you just said adult MMBN characters.

Oh I was hoping I wouldnt mess up. Let me say this then. Shadowfire and others just make the criticsize not too harsh please. I changed the word thanks for remindind me for I forgot to do that. As for Patch you can draw him if you wish. I shouldve said this before so I'll say this now. You can draw kid Patch as a submition or just for people to look at your work. Adult Patch cannot be a submitted art in the contest. Also a new rule some one might ask this question later.

um, im sucky at using paint, can i just draw it like, ya know, paper and pencil?

Um.. how do you put a picture from paint to a post. If you put your mind to it anybody can make a good pic from paint. although some may need practice before that can happen.

Well, it involves first putting said picture on Photobucket, but there's a whole topic around here somewhere explaining it. It's like, "How to post ur pictures," or something like that.

Yes it will go on. I thought people would like this idea and submit thier artworks. I mean I see lots of fan art work on the web. So I thought it would be more popular on a megaman site. I would show my drawings but I have no scanner.But I say this topic should stay around for when people do deciede to post their pictures.
