Wasn't sure where to post this... seeing how its only for the GBA emulator I figured it should go here.
Megaman: New Horizon is a project started years back as a tie-in between the Zero series and Legend series. This site has now completed a demo of their game that is available for download. It looks pretty awesome, using the game engine of Zero. Gameplay at this point is pretty choppy, but its not bad for something made nearly from scratch.
VisualBoy Advance is needed to play, so I hope your computers are capable of running it.
The storyline takes place after the end of Zero 2 and beginning of Zero 3, where X provides the Resistance an alternative to end the war. X and many private investors had made a giant colony ship on the dark side of the moon, offering to take the reploids and human sympathizers out of the equation of the war, causing it to hopefully die out like a fire without fuel. However, Ciel cannot bear to leave her home behind, and Zero was never one to abandon the field of battle, despite how tempting the offer of a new home sounded. The mission went on, and a quarter million humans and reploids, including X, left to a new world, named "New Horizon" by a child, where they built a capitol city by the name of Eylsium. The wings of their craft were dismantled, and they would never be able to return.
However, after a few years, Mavericks appeared and war swept the city, taking control of the peacekeepers and endangering even more people. X was approached for help, and with the help of a Cyber Elf expert named Alouette (a copy, not Ciel's adopted daughter), X was placed in a new body to save his people once again.
This game looks quite promising. I just thought I should fill you guys in, since I haven't seen a topic containing it on the site so far. I hope you guys and gals enjoy it.
