Like .hack//liminality, Online Jack takes place offline [in the real world] during //G.U.'s timeline. The main character, Salvadore Aihara, is a news reporter. Online Jack will be integrated into the new video game's "Altimit Mine OS" desktop instead of being separate OVAs.
