I've done it before, but it's always nervous and weird. Try a new school AND a new town. I recently did that when I moved to Jacksonville.

I always felt like changing to a new school but noe i will feel sad that i miss my old friends...but moving to a new town its much more sad,weaird and nervous..

I went from a crowded elementary school in Santa Clarita, California (right next to LA) all the way up to a backwater middle school in Round Mountain, way up north in the same state. Different school, different town, different region, and of course, different people. Life sucked for the next year or so.
