the Playstation 3 is delayed in Europe, it's release date has been changed from November to March, a 4 month delay.
that is good news for the Wii-lovers (like me), there won't be any real competition until the next year. (Xbox360? nah)
PS3 delayed
This is a minor news item, the first announced release for Europe was already set for the beginning of 2007.
This overshadows something else that I consider much more important: Sony will only have 400 000 units available in North America, and 100 000 units in Japan for launch time. That's even less than what Microsoft did with the Xbox 360, and the shortages lasted for months! I hope that you pre-ordered already if you want one...

I don't think I have to worry about shortages and pre-orders. I won't have the money to get it for months anyways. Same with the Wii. I couldn't care less about the X-Box 360.

I could honestly care less about PS3 release dates and at-launch supply numbers. It doesn't change the fact that they've shot themselves in the foot and dug their own grave.

I am glad about this; means that the Wii is going to be preferred by even MORE people. Indeed, they continue to put a nail in their own coffin with each shard of bad news for the PS3.

Knew this was going to happen. I mean as of 3 weeks ago Sony had not started mass production at all, they could not fit the system in the ps3 shell. I'm not sure the status right now.
Oh well good news for the Wii
