i was a big fan of Y-G-O but i retired from collecting but my personal favorate was the dragon deck with red eyes darkness dragon

sorry dude, but the flow of monsters is all wrong. based on how many monsters that require offerings compared to monsters that can be normal summoned, itd be hard to bring them out. lunatite being the biggest problem. 1.takes two offeings, so youd need three monsters out to use him effectively. 2.you cant equip a union to a monster if its normal summoned (I think)and its got low attack and can be easily destroyed by a heavy storm or mystical space typhoon.(once its equipped). also theres 3 other monsters that require two offerings. if you can take those out, I would have less to complain about.

I think he knows that. He does not ebter tournoments, its his casuall deck for dueling me and other friends it never has to be tournoment oriented

I like to play in tournaments alot it's fun,and when people use banned cards in tournaments they automatically send you out of the building and don't let you back in...that's messed up.

At the moment I'm trying to be creative and build a deck around Chainsaw Insect. Here are the stats of the card-

Any suggestions as to cards I can use? I want to minimize the cons (the opponent drawing a card) and emphasize the pros (a free 2400 ATK beatstick that's hopefully searchable by something).

The only card I know that can search that is Witch of the Black Forest[SPELLCASTER/EFFECT] When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, move 1 monster with a DEF of 1500 or less from your Deck to your hand. Your Deck is then shuffled.
As for the opponent draw thing I'll try to find something,it's a cool idea to use that card though.

Well, I'm making this deck in conjunction with the Advanced banlist, so no Witch. So far I figure I could use Appropriate + Robbin' Goblin so that I can maintain some sort of card advantage, but otherwise I'm not sure.

You could destroy any face down monsters they summon without tributing, And give them damage which with robbin' zombie would be very useful.

Yes Chainsaw Insect.....wierd choice to build a deck on how about adding some Bisro Busters in there? A really basic n00b card but with your strategy you should be able to pull off some kind off good deck with that. Also, you should base your deck on deck depletion. Use cards like Gravekeeper's Servant, Card destruction, Robbin' Goblin, Greed, and other cards that force your opponent to draw cards and then having to discard them.

I forgot about Robbin' Zombie...anyway, if I can find a good Earth Attribute searcher then I can use Drillroid to clear Defense Position monsters. I also wanted to include Destiny Hero-Defender in the deck-by giving an opponent a card during the Standby Phase if it's face-up, it's got 2700 DEF. I've also experimented with Staunch Defender-choose a monster on your field and your opponent has to attack it with everyone he's got. With Robbin' Goblin/Gravekeeper's Servant in play, that translates to a lot of lost cards.

But a pure discard deck isn't want I want. I want a nice offensive game too.

WHich is why Big Bang Shot wouuld work because it equuips for 400 extra attack points on a monster and gives them the effects of Fairy Meteor Crush.

Yes, but I'd also risk tripping a monster's effect. Drillroid can just kill any Defense monster in my way so I can send Chainsaw in there.

I'm not sure if I can even bring support around Chainsaw...he's unsearchable, I think. He might have use in a Skill Drain deck, of course...

It does not have to be a discard deck. It will merely be the theme of discard with Greed you can make it so that every time you attack he'll lose some extra points then using the robbin Goblin and sorts to have him lose the cards. All it really is is a deck to lock your opponent in fow a few turns while you kill him.

Hmmm...if I run Greed, then I couldn't run Appropriate without getting bitten...but if I run Robbin' Goblin, then I could run Magical Thorn (500 dmg when cards are discarded from the hand).

Anyway, I've given up on Chainsaw Insect. Now I've just made a deck designed to toss cards into the Graveyard to power up my various monsters. This deck runs Chaos Necromancer and Exodia Necross for double the fun. I haven't tested it yet, so don't mind any potential errors:

I think you need more monsters for that deck,and just wait a while for the Strike of Neos expansion for more Neospacians and Neos Fusions to come.
I would make a Destiny Hero Deck since I got alot of'em but I think I'll wait for the English release of Destiny Hero Bloo-D.Such a good card,probably will be banned of course.

You'll need the H And R spell cards to use the E and O cards properly I think...

E and O by themselves are far more valuable for an E-Hero deck.

You know what, fusion.exe? I'm gonna refine this deck of yours to make it even more viable. It'd be an interesting challenge for me, as I'm trying to get in touch with the current metagame and how good decks work.

He gots support cards too and that keeps Destiny Force on top of your deck and still draw a cards under it so D-Force stays on top of your deck,Bloo-D grows stronger unaffected by any Spells or Traps,and your opponent's summoning and/or activation of effect monsters are useless.It's no wonder the show called it the Ultimate Destiny Card.
