As stated in X5, the Black Armor was more of an enhancement, not an actual armor.

Well if it IS correct(I'm not saying it is), then it wouldn't be because X has armors. It'd be because Phantom and the like were clones of X.(This contributes to both theorys now that I think about it)
Wouldn't be surprised if X used his own DNA to create Zero's copy body.
If Omega used Zero's original body, thus having Zero's DNA in the Model O Biometal, and combined with Model X, and causing it to look like Zero from the Zero series with a darker red armor... well, it'd explain much, wouldn't it?
