Topic: More Mega Men?
Well, there were more Models...
Neat idea. Someone should draw that.
So my ZX2 begins like this:
A man who was extremely interested in the way Mega Man Serpent went Maverick comes across a biometal calling his name while he is on a mission to the moon. The fragment he finds, of course, is Model ∑.
Of course, this is only the eigth in a series of 8 fragments of Model ∑, which, when joined together with a certain "device," form the Model ∑ Core. So the man, willingly going with Model ∑ on ideals almost parallel to Serpent's, decides to take action, sending 8 of his own biometal creations, made from leftover New Generation Reploids, to hunt down the fragment locations.
Meanwhile, the Guardians see more and more Maverick outbreaks than even when Slither, Inc. was harvesting cyber-elves. Along with this, seven biometal signatures and a strange signal are spotted in eight distant places:
A fortress collapsed and floting in the sea
The north pole
An abandoned underground lab
A large gun found underwater in the ocean
A mysteriously radioactive crater
A destroyed laboratory
A Deserted yet huge palace
The Moon (the odd signal)
So the main character, Vent / Aile, is sent to retrieve these "mysterious rocks" and the "odd device." After the 8 artificial biometal Mega Men (NOT Pseudoroids - this time, the biometals themselves are fakes) are destroyed and the rocks and device gathered, the enemy HQ is found near the sun, of all places.
Upon reaching the area and the antagonist's chamber, the Guardians are informed of what they had done - gathered the other seven Model ∑ fragments AND the "device-" the virus hive that Sigma had used to escape to when his bodies were destroyed! With all the pieces in place, an 8-round battle begins, one round for each Model ∑ fragment! (the bosses all have 1 life bar and aren't super-hard).
(drawings later!)
After this, the antagonist finally reveals what he will do to separate the Mega Men from all regular humans in one fell swoop - Model ∑ has a strong resistance to the sun's energy, and it had infected every other biometal, giving them this trait. When all the Mega Men found their biometals, they all would survive what would come from this - a huge solar wave that would wipe out all "inferior" life and leave the Mega Men under Model ∑ to rule over the "new world."
With that, the main character is moved to a new hallway, much like with Redips, where he/she proceeds to fight the Model ∑ Core.
(working on it now!)
Yes, I like the big face on Model W and put one like it here. But this one has a purpose - after the fight, Sigma himself talks through it to Model X, asking why they must use the "pathetic humans" to wage their wars, and how X, with his human-friendly ideals, would ever let this happen. He concludes by leaving X with the question whether or nor it has finally become his time to go Maverick - to put the lives of humans at stake to reach his goals and such. And Sigma's off again, to wait where he will until next time, leaving his former host to die in the sun's heat.
There. It's a bit odd and needs some fixing, but it works for now. I plan to have a much bigger world, more towns and interactivity, a more linear way to go about things so missions aren't one stage short, and more secret models to get.

No Lumine Model. NO. DENIED.
