Hey has anyone ever heard of this? If so do you have it? I wanna know what you think of it... I read up on it and I wanna get it, but I'm not sure if my mom would let me cuz it was talking about patches and stuff haha... But if you have useful info please let me know. Thanks!

Patches are only needed if you want to run a server. Numerous servers are on most of the time, however, so it's hardly needed.

Well the site I was given is way different from the one you gave me, so that's why I asked hahaha

Oh well, I'm right, your wrong. XD I've downloaded the game from this site on two different computers, no patch needed. Only problem is competitor comes out in a month or two (Basically netbattle except with D/P pokemon and Metagame) so this hasn't gotten much attention. The list of servers can be down at times.

I was saying that it is, yes, playable. The aptches are for later versions.


BUT STICK TO NETBATTLE.

I say this because after I downloaded this game, you have to fight 50 matches in a row to win. Okay, fine, except the abttle system is crap. GROWL DOES DAMAGE. :O

It was good in concept, but netbattle is better in practice. I don't know how to use my own pokemon, though.

So, in the end, you would recommend NetBattle over POL? I'm trying to decide which one to download, and I just want to make sure I understand you.

Yes, Netbattle is better overall. I would suggest it over pokemon online.

I entered an online Pokémon game once. You could choose different kinds of characters to represent you (ended up chosing a Team Magma Grunt >___>) and a starter Pokémon out of twelve (the starters of the first three series and Pikachu, Pidgey and Poochyena). I might play one of the above two sometime. Or maybe both.

It's not that complex, unless you come in during the middle of a large update. Patch 9.0 was a big harassment for me.
