Well, I thought the ending sucked, but then I read about the post-credits scene on Wikipedia and I feel a whole lot better about it.

Still, there were a few plots that didn't resolve well. I give this movie a B.

I loved the end, with Jack being honest with the ladies and hitting Gibbs, then going out and finally receiving his rum, after all. It was a most satisfying ending for me, more than any other ending I've ever seen in trilogy.

At first I thought that Jack would fool Davy Jones into piercing his own heart, thus breaking the cycle of "he who kills the captain becomes captain", but when it became clear that Will was going to die, you couldn't think otherwise but "oh em gee, he's gonna be them captain, eh?"

I hadn't expected the turn of events concerning Tia Dalma, and I liked the showing up of Jack's parents.

I do, however, blame myself for not sitting it out to the end to watch the post-credits scene, but I'll watch that one on DVD when I'll get it.

I'll be seeing it tonight. Why, I don't really know, probably because I like Johnny Depp's Keith Richards impressions.

You'll like Keith Richards' impression of Keith Richards more than Depp's impression of Keith Richards. >__>

The movie was hilarious and I stayed for the post credits. :X It's always my habit to do so because of POTC1. (This was by accident when I was staying behind for a little bit, talking to someone and I saw the post credits on the first movie.)

Alright, i'm giving it a B+. (I gave Dead Man's chest a C+). It had grreat acting and the plot was resolved fairly well.

I'm happier now, knowing that the curse is broken if the captain's lover remains faithful for 10 years. Now it doesn't feel so incomplete.

I dunno. I guess I'd give it a B-.

It seemed a lot more shallow plot-wise than the first two, especially with useless elements like Calypso, who was a major buildup for the whole movie and then completely fell flat. Davy Jones deserved more of an ending than he got. Everything was linear on this one. Everyone was at sea, and at the same place somehow. If not, you just stuck with Jack's band and the rest was implied. Poorly, too - all the crossovers were hard to keep track of. Was it me, or did the whole Pirate Lords thing seem random, as well as the yada yada India Company's hunting of Prates seeming just like a reason for them to be hated?

It was especially funny, and Jack was at his best since PotC1. And yeah, Teej, I loved the ending with Jack - off to live forever, starting with a bottle of rum.

I have to say, 1 was the best, and they got successively worse.

Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
