I loved the end, with Jack being honest with the ladies and hitting Gibbs, then going out and finally receiving his rum, after all. It was a most satisfying ending for me, more than any other ending I've ever seen in trilogy.
At first I thought that Jack would fool Davy Jones into piercing his own heart, thus breaking the cycle of "he who kills the captain becomes captain", but when it became clear that Will was going to die, you couldn't think otherwise but "oh em gee, he's gonna be them captain, eh?"
I hadn't expected the turn of events concerning Tia Dalma, and I liked the showing up of Jack's parents.
I do, however, blame myself for not sitting it out to the end to watch the post-credits scene, but I'll watch that one on DVD when I'll get it.
