This time, they stole a bunny out of a kindergarten class. PETA says they don't condone this, but PETA is a bunch of lying bastards anyway, so I don't buy it.

Now this is not even funny, or a demonstration of some sort: it's just a pathetic act aimed at a completely unrelated target. Attacking a local school because a circus is in town? That doesn't even make sense!

I was about to disregard the entire news until I clicked the msnbc link...PETA's intentions are good (animal rights, etc), but their methods are pretty retarded.

Plus they're hypocrites too. Did you know that they're responsible for a fair number of violations on their own?

Well, they take animals from shelters just to euthanize them.

If you want some really good facts on Peta go here

Active Cash and the Centers for Consumer Freedom are watchdog groups that keep an eye on "not-for-profit" organizations, to see what donation money REALLY funds.

Wow...just wow...no seeing-eye dogs? I'm sure they'd change their opinions in a heartbeat if they were blind.

I have other comments about what else they're trying to do, but the use of extremelly foul language would have to be used, so I won't post them here.

PeTA violently opposes the use of animals in medical testing. If we didn't test on animals, we wouldn't have 90% of the medical advancements we have today. No insulin injections, no organ transplants, no artificial limbs, joints, or organs. No antibiotics, no antivirals, no painkillers. The list goes on and on. Anything tested on animals is taboo. So, next time you see a Vegan taking Tylenol....

And, the mother of all hipocrisy...

"PETA Senior Vice President MaryBeth Sweetland on her use of insulin, which was tested on animals:

"I'm an insulin-dependent diabetic. Twice a day I take synthetically manufactured insulin that still contains some animal products -- and I have no qualms about it ... I'm not going to take the chance of killing myself by not taking insulin. I don't see myself as a hypocrite. I need my life to fight for the rights of animals."
--Glamour, January 1990"

Let's not forget that Ingrid Newkirk, President and Co-founder of PETA also has diabetes and uses insulin.

""Even if animal experiments did result in a cure for AIDS, of which there is no chance, I’d be against it on moral grounds."

"Our nonviolent tactics are not as effective. We ask nicely for years and get nothing. Someone makes a threat, and it works."
