Crysis, a first person shooter from Crytek, the makers of Far-Cry. The game has been praised, and has recieved outstanding reviews. The game is available for the PC, but be warned, the games graphics are amazing, and will push any lesser PC's to the limits. You play as a Super Soldier with a Nano Suit, that can increase your speed, defense, and strength, along with a built in cloaking device. You can have many weapons, such as Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Snipers, Dual Pistols, Rocket Launchers, Etc. You can also lift enemy soldiers off the ground, and hurl them. The games environments are almost totally indestructible, as huts, and buildings crumble before missiles, crashing helicopters, and tanks. Trees can also collapse, when shot enough, or when damaged, falling and killing enemies soldiers. You can drive tanks, helicopters, and boats.

The game takes place on an Island Jungle. Your mission is to rescue a group of scientists captured by North Korean Soldiers, a simple mission. But as one of the trailers puts it, everything goes horribly horribly wrong. The story takes a Sci-fi twist when there is a massive Alien Spaceship in the center of the isle, that freezes everything to ice, and you have to fight to survive in this frozen wasteland against an alien foe. The environments play like Far-Cry, meaning that while you have a set mission, the areas are also very sandbox. The game uses an advanced physics engine, to further enhance the destructible environments. In one video I watched, an alien spacecraft exploded in mid-air (this is all real game play mind you) with a nuclear esque explosion, and ripped nearby houses to shreds, and blasted vehicles backwards. There is also a 16 people team online mode, called power struggle, where you fight to control bases. I could go on, but theres so much more I'd have to type. I can't wait until Christmas when I get my computer upgraded. This game looks amazing.
Now some screen shots to prove it.

I swear to god, all of these are actually game play shots, no movie clip stills. Except for the logo type shot, just thought I'd show of the sick nanosuit.

That is definitely impressive... No way my computer could handle it! ^^;

PC games are usually impressive, but it all depends on the computer running it...

Even if I got the new cards in my computer, I don't think it can handle that...

Is this game from the future or something? It doesn't look like any PC anywhere could possibly run this with the graphics shown above without lag.

Or, the poster formerly known as Pri- I mean, rockmaniskool.

Ya, I know, it's graphics are amazing. Actually the only thing that I need to be able to run this bad boy is a better video card, and I'm getting a new one for christmas.Even though it won't be as good as the above graphics, the game will still be amazing. Hooray me!
