I'v never made a gundam Model kit before but was considering starting. While on amazon.com I found what is called the speed grade.Apperantly its for kids ages 8 and up,It is the size of a action figure and it needs no paint job. It also has most of the parts put together. Thede model kit comes in Wing gundam and The first gundam The RX-78. Although it sounds good I am a bit worried about the fact that its put in a bag. Also if im to start makeing model kits were can I find gundam markers?

Well, they're easy to put together, but have next to no articulations from what I heard. You're better off starting with some High Grade models.

For Gundam Markers...I have absolutely no idea, sorry.

Is this a high grade?http://www.amazon.com/Gundam-EW-02-W-Gundam-Custom-Scale/dp/B0006N148I/ref=sr_1_169?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-g ames&qid=1201464012&sr=1-169

Any recomendation on which gundam I should make. I want to make the gundam wing ones and a few seed ones. I kinda also want to do the zz gundam and the main gundam from gundam 00.

All I can say is look up a lot of Gundam model reviews, first. Gundam models are not known for their structural stability.

Admittedly, they've been getting better with the design, but from what I can tell, they've only been doing that for later SEED and SEED Destiny models. I don't know anything about 00. But I have some early Gundam Wing models, and a couple Gundam X models, and none of them are very stable. A lot of the pieces come off really easily, posing is difficult due to shoddy construction, and a lot of the pieces don't fit all that well.

The bigger models tend to be easier to work with, but those are also really expensive.

That's for sure. I got some Gundam models for Christmas one year. Just don't use 'em like action figures, like I tried to do.

Yeah, that's a High Grade kit.

Anyway, I have a few Gundam kits laying around and the recent High Grade Universal Century kits that came out are really stable. Basically, anything post-2000 is a good bet. There are some 00 HG kits (Flag and Exia), but you'll have to wait for more.

EDIT: If you want the ZZ Gundam, you'll have to try the MG (since I think the HG is discontinued) and it's not a very good kit...
