I stumbled upon a very well done playable NES rendition of Mega Man 7. It contains almost all of the stages, bosses and music from the SNES original game, only it's all been NESified. It's definitely worth a look. Controls take some getting use to (what PC game doesn't). Big credit for the creator!

Controls:

X = Shoot(Hold for Charge shot)
Z = Jump
Down + X = Slide
A/S = Swap Weapons
Q = Menu
R = Reset Game

A Mega Man 8 NES version is in the works right now as well.

THD actually showed me this before over a week ago.

MM7 was difficult enough for me as it is. >__> Playing it when 8-bit makes it Nintendo Hard would be hell.

Oh, and keep in mind that the program you download to play this is NOT a ROM for an emulator, but a standalone program.

Yes, I probably should have mentioned that. My hat's off to you.

And yes, this version is hard, but all the items are still intact like the Super Adapter, Rush Jet and Energy Balancer etc. (if you can make it that far.) Sadly, no Auto Shop, so no Bolts, and you have to find all of the parts yourself.
