She called herself "Splash Woman". He figured she was feigning interest in him due to his underwater capabilities, layering him with admiring, crafted words. Perhaps she thought to lower his guard and take advantage of him.

...perhaps he could take care of her in the same subverted manner.

I leap onto the Splash Woman fanart bandwagon with something that took 9000 hours in Paint.Net. For some reason, I got the idea to contrast her with my own aquatic Robot Master, the logical zealot called Tidal Man. I didn't want to draw bubbles in the background, so I tossed in some Mega Man enemies. They're chilling in a part of the ocean full of the suckers. I mean, where else can they go after Wily's been shut down for the hundreth time? I dunno.

My only complaint is Splash Woman's one arm that looks like the forearm that looks like it's coming out of her mid-bicep. Tidal Man looks awesome though.

Tidal Man still reminds me of a River Zora.

BD: Yeah, I could've lengthened it a bit more. Damn you, female anatomy!

Doc: I guess my designing skills are just incredible :V
But seriously, I can think of loads of ideas for Robot Masters. Maybe if Capcom relaxed their standards a bit, we could get some more creative ones.
