
Conclusions
Drinking only water was the easier part of the challenge, in the long run. Once the withdrawal symptoms ended, I reacquired my taste for water, and this time, it's a habit I intend to keep going.
As for staying off the Internet for a longer period of time, things went great when I not only had work to accomplish, but other varied activities like going somewhere to eat or doing something else like that. My attempts to start another kind of at-home hobby didn't really stick well. Even though I was off the internet, I was still at my computer a lot, and it wasn't very interesting. If I were to attempt this again, I think it'd be good to have more off-computer activities (something else besides reading, I do that enough). As such, this habit needs some work, so I'm probably going to drop it for now until I can really fix it. I still plan to get all my work done before jumping online, though-it's served me well thus far.
