Hey I got this emulator working with the keyboard and all which was easy.

The hard part came into play when I tried using my Philips USB controller with dual analog and motors. It looks like a playstation 1 controller really and it has a retractable USB cable.

My question is how do I make it so that I can use my CONTROLLER work with No$GBA emulator that way I can play my games with it? I think I've tried just about everything. I tried putting in the button commands with the Philips device editor, I tried going into the DS Emu Control config and edit those button commands too and all I get is the same result.....no response when using the controller :/

My alternative was to try and find a working DS Emu that would let me put in the button commands by just pressing the buttons on my controller to set the key. All I've found lately are ones that crash over every little thing.

Another thought is that it isn't possible.

So please can someone help me with this problem? If you can't find a resolution with the program then if you have a program that WILL work with that then please link me :D

I personally use GlovePie to assign keyboard commands to a game controller. With that, you can use your controller with any software, game or not, that doesn't happen to have a built-in support for it. It's a powerful utility, but it can be a bit complicated to understand.

An alternative is JoyToKey. It's compatible with some different hardware and might work better for your controller. Just like with GlovePie, you assign keyboard commands to your buttons, so you don't need access to a specific in-game configuration screen.

Cool, that sounds like it'd work nicely. Thank you very much DC, I'll go check it out!
