Aside from going to sleep early (at least before 11), keeping the curtains open might help. The sunlight coming in through the window in the morning really helps for me at any rate, much more than my alarm clock. (Mostly because being violently woken tends to leave one groggy.)
This could help, but that depends on if the sun's up or not. Right now, the sun's just barely up where I'm at around 7. And, since I'm planning to decrease my time further in the future, I can't rely on that. There are alarms, though, that simply emit light as opposed to making loud noises. When I can, I might pick one of those up and try it out.
