This has been going on for a while now, and I can't seem to find the root of the problem anywhere. Whenever I go to Youtube, Animecrazy or Deviantart, I get messages saying "401 Site blocked by Administrator". Thing being, I AM the administrator! There are no other login accounts on this computer, it's completely mine, but I get these messages from sites I go on a lot. Whenever I type the sites in Google, it never loads. I have tried countless things to fix this, but to no avail. I have tried replacing my Router, Disabling my Firewall, Release/Renew on my Command Prompt [I can't seem to ping any of them either, I get no response], going into my Internet Properties to see if Firefox or IE have blocked the sites, resetting my Router, Run AVG and Spybot and checking if the Router itself blocked anything, but nothing has worked.
I have no idea what is going on!
This any my internet seems to boot me off when I load certain things, like my connection keeps getting reset.

Any insight on this will be truly appreciated! T_T

That sounds odd... The only thing I can think of is it might be a Firewall if you have one installed. If thats not it maybe your Virus protection program, I have one that blocks sites it thinks has viruses :o maybe thats it?

If that isnt it then it might be an attack on your part, meaning maybe your computers infected with some kind of virus or spyware that blocks you out of sites you go to alot.

In memory of .hack//Chat I say one last time: "Let's meet again sometime, in that place we love to go. The Root town of Mac Anu!"

I'm Windows XP Pro x.x
I have run Spybot and AVG, and nothing pops up at all, so I'm thinking it's not a virus...

The "401 Block By Administrator" is an issue that involves blocking software to prevent you from accessing certain sites(in most cases over-protective parents), that was set by the administrator, and just to let you know, when you login under whatever account you use, you're not the main administrator.

The main administrator can be seen when you go into Safe mode though, you should check your router, as if it is a D-Link, then settings within it can block certain sites, d-link to my knowledge acts like a web filter to some extent. Where if you blocked the word "soft" then rarsoft, grisoft, and microsoft are blocked as well.

If that doesn't work then check your security settings in Firefox, or IE, and possibly scan over your hosts file. Chances are your mom or dad, or whoever you live with is pulling a practical joke by preventing you to get to the things you like.

As it is a user-side issue.

Edit: Also remembered, it's a slight chance that these said hosts have banned your IP Range from your ISP, due to some malicious user. I'd throw an email just to check.

I have tried that, and they have never replied. But if it was a block, would it go away after while? These sites only block me from anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. We do have a D-Link, but my parents haven't done anything, they use some of the sites as well!
