Continuing our series of celebrity deaths, even if summer is over...

Captain Lou Albano died today. I didn't even watch the Super Mario Bros. Super Show when I was a child (I purchased the DVDs 2 years ago), but in my mind, he's still one of the main actors (and voices!) to portray Mario. He wasn't bad at the role, honestly: somewhat goofy is is one of the main personality points I'd recognize on Mario, and he had that well.

Aw man. One of the most memorable and earliest people to ever portray Mario, Lou will always hold a place in the memories of my childhood.
