So, I was talking with a friend of mine about video games, particularly the action horror genre. She had said something about not being able to find many new ones, so I of course pointed out the new Resident Evils, Silent Hill 8, and DMC4. Then I went to see if there were any newer ones. What did I find? DMC 5! I was excited, as a fan of the series. However, what I saw was... this. I couldn't help but ask myself: "What the hell?"
As I continued to find videos and a some articles on the game I kept getting mixed stories. Some were saying "Don't worry! It's an alternate universe." Whereas others say that it really IS Dante, and it's right after DMC4. Then I was hearing that this is some kind of origin thing, like a DMC Zero or something. So, my question is simple. Is this an origin, alternate universe, or a sequel? Also, should the creative director for DMC 5 be FIRED for making Dante look like him.

I think he should be fired. I hate it when people who take someone else's creation and inject their ideas into it to a point that it looks like some fan's fantasy or something.

If he had to look like anyone from Capcom, it should have been Hideki Kamiya.
