JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a crazy manga about blowing up vampires with martial arts, freezing time, turning guns into bananas, and having every superpower named after a famous band or song. It's been running for a long time now - Part 8 recently started, tracking the adventures of different protagonists over the course of time, each one having a name that can be shortened to "JoJo" in some way.

At first the manga had similar artwork to Fist of the North Star and was a violent horror manga. In Parts 1 and 2, following the Joestar family, the heroes used a sunlight-driven martial art called Hamon to destroy vampires and zombies. In Part 3 the series took its current form with the introduction of Stands, manifestations of a person's spirit with strange appearances and powers. These range from humanoids to wheeled dogs made of sand, to wearable suits and illusionary mazes. A big part of every battle is that it's never always about brute force - Stand users are incredibly clever and tactical, and require the characters to use their brains if they stand a chance of winning.
