Before anyone goes "oh no, another industry giant is dying!", this isn't the real Atari, which has been dead for a long time. This is the US branch of Infogrames, which purchased the name some time back and then renamed themselves to Atari because of it's brand recognition.

That name is cursed nowadays. If you're bored, read up on the history of the Atari name. It's quite fun to see how many companies adopted the name then died out!
