I don\'t understand how hitting a boss over and over and over and over repeatedly kills it...I mean, whynot just shov your sword in its head and be done with it, geez, I mean, RM Zero actually simulates this, because when you kill a boss, it\'s cut in half, but.....geez, show some damage, instead of being at full strength up until the last moment.

Althought admittedly unrealistic, it is fair. Since, of course, Zero himself is at the same strength no matter how much life HE has, as well.

I\'m sure it\'d be a pain to program.

yes, that\'s true, but ....if a boss is stupid low on life....why does it get stronger...?

maybe a rush of adrenaline?

You damage its anger control unit after a certain amount of damage, and it becomes \"mentally challenged\", even though it\'s a robot. And so it gets really mad and uses its strongest attacks on you, and when you smack it again it blows up or falls in half or whatever and you\'re finally done with it.

The bosses probably figure they have nothing to lose by using some of thier stronger attacks or riskier techniques after you\'ve damaged them enough. The change in tactics is probably prompted by desperation or anger.

As for maintianing thier level of strength, there is really no way to know if thier life bar actually has anything to do with the amount of power allocated to combat functions. Life bars probably only show how much physical punishment the boss can take and don\'t have anything to do with weapons or combat power. The boss could also be accessing some kind of auxillary power supply or diveritng energy from other systems to maintain or boost its attack power.
