I'm not sure exactly what brought me wandering back here; I used to be active on both the message board and the oekaki years ago, if anyone's here who remembers. Despite being gone for so long, I still find it depressing how... abandoned this site seems to be. I understood, after reading some updates, what happened to the oekaki, but I was surprised that even the message board now gets very little traffic.

If anyone's still out there, give me a shout! I'd love to know who's still around, if anyone I used to talk to is kicking around the forum, etc. It's funny how nostalgia slaps you upside the head every once in awhile.

Hi Rioni, long time no see!

I'm definitely still here, obviously, and the place is far from abandoned... although it definitely quieted down. Several people still visit, but many of them just browse without posting. You know, sometimes, all it takes is one person to really get the discussion going. That could be you!

With the Mega Man franchise flatlining and recent browser updates more-or-less breaking the oekaki functionality, it's no wonder that that other place fell on its face. As you might have noticed, the bulk of the Interordi.com community nowadays is regrouped around Minecraft. That player base doesn't seem to favor the forums nearly as much, so right now, I'm kind of standing on top of a mountain, shouting at people "COME HERE, THIS IS WAY MORE FUN THAN FACEBOOK!!"... but not many are paying attention. I'm still working toward getting people more involved.

I'm looking forward to see you around once in a while!

You'll probably see me a lot more than once in awhile. I love Minecraft, I prefer to play on a server rather than alone, and the server I've been on really gets on my nerves.

I'm sometimes not very good at going up on forums- not because of facebook, but because if I already and playing a game with the people on said forums, I end up talking more in the game! Still, maybe if there's more visible activity here, it might drag more people into the server, too. Either way, I'm glad people are still here. Other places I used to go have utterly died, and the webmaster just... abandoned it and left his poor mods to flail about uselessly. All hail Interordi and its indomitable leader!

Well it's because message boards in general aren't really used anymore. People who have ever even really heard of them (in the non-corporate and non-support versions) are over 26 now, we have full-time jobs, children, legal work, coupons, etc., and that's in addition to Facebook and YouTube. Sure we always have adults on some boards but now there is no new people coming in so every human that either leaves or drops off will not be replaced because a 15-year-old will no longer use a message board and adults will no longer search for new boards that they have not already joined.
