But the other block game scratches my survival/build/craft/mine itch. … We suspect you will find a new itch.

While this game had origins in ‘that other block game’ it really does make its own mark. It’s a game that forces you to slow down and experience it. With challenging survival, truly rewarding progression, developing lore, and exciting exploration, once you play it you realize its only comparison is in that first look. So let’s stop comparing.

After that you can access Riftlands at play.creeperslab.net

Riftlands is a whitelisted server through our host Interordi. You will need to join Interordi https://account.interordi.com/register and add the game to your profile. If you already have an Interordi account, simply log in, look for ‘edit your profile’ and add your in-game name to the game!

The world includes our favorite collection of mods, curated and tested by the admin team (list below). If you intend to use a client-side mod, please check with staff in case of any conflict. For the sake of stability of the server world, we do not plan to add new mods; however, if there are a large amount of requests for one, we will consider it. If you wish to see a pure vanilla game, we encourage you to start a single-player game – after which you’ll enjoy how much more dynamic our chosen mods make the gameplay.

While griefing is not acceptable, unprotected areas may be looted, even if it appears someone is using it (survival is hard). There is also a limit to how much you can claim. Lore locations may not be claimed. Lore locations will be regenerated to allow all players to experience them. Cooperation and Companionship are encouraged (and heck your chances of survival are better in a group- you just have to run faster than the last person).

The developers state that the game is still in “Early Access” but there is no lack of development in what has been released, and stable releases are the only ones prompted, so don’t let that scare you. You will be informed when to accept the updates. Note that the game can run hard on graphics.
