This will take some time, I assure you, it took me 8 tries to get Aquaman SP and 4 Tries to get Junkman SP.....
First you will need to beat them in under 30 seconds, and you can\'t get hit at all. Thats right you can\'t get hit so stock up on those invis and popup chips (Preferably * code ) A easy strat to use is areagrab them to the back and use mine chips if can get lucky enough to get them when you need it the battle will be much easier 4 mine chips will do 1200 damage!
Also heres another strat....
Areagrab once and use Airhoc 3 if you can hit them you will pretty much always go into full synchro, which means your next chip will bedoubled so if you have another airhoc it will be 140 damage .I S-ranked gut\'s man with just 4 chips, Areagrab and three Airhoc 3\'s. here are some chips you might want to put in. Don\'t bother with Recov chips cause if you get hit you won\'t get the S-rank no matter what you do.
Areagrab X4
Airhoc 3 X4
Mine X4
Metagel X4
Fullcust X1(Preset this chip if you want)
Fastguage X4
Invis X4
Last 5 chips, anything you want.

Hey, anyone know how to beat LaserMan? I got him down to about 370 HP and used life sword right after he moved but I didn\'t delete him! I didn\'t even damage him! What\'s up with that? Is he unvulnerable to Program Advances or something? Or do you have to use a Dark Chip like with ShadeMan?

Perhaps what happened is you had just hit him before that, and he was semi-transparent? when that happens, he\'s invincible, but only until he gets back to normal. but no, don\'t under any circumstances use the dark chips, unless you want to lose 1 HP forever (or until you use the e-reader thing).

He\'s in Park Area 3. Right at where the Castillo control panel is. He\'s a black colored Navi. Get ready to fight a couple battle before hand when you talk to him.

No, he wasn\'t semitransparent. I\'ve known what that meant since before MMBN 1. Anyways, I beat him. I pulled off the Life Sword (unluckily for me just after he used the thing that restores his life) and then wore him down with charge shots, which required me to shoot as soon as I finished charging. Also, what do you mean by E-Reader? I\'ve heard of something like that, but what does it do?

Now, can anyone tell me how to beat Duo? I think I\'m really in trouble there!

This boss, IMO, is the hardest last boss yet since you don\'t have all of the chips and power you\'d normally have by the end of the games. Ever heard of the GunDelSol chips? They\'ll work wonders on Duo. Use this Numberman Code to get one of the best chips in the game:

74293099

Other then that, carry lots of Invis * chips, PopUps, anything that will keep you from taking damage. The PA LifeSword works well. Duo uses this beam that will attack the middle area but for some reason it still hits you even when you\'re not in the middle. That\'s because there are these annoying rings that spread out from the beam. Once you take note of this, it\'ll be easy to dodge because there is actually a pattern the rings do. Once Duo makes the beam, stay away from the middle row, then stay away from the front row, and then stay away from the 3rd row. He\'ll always shoot the rings out in that order. Having the Sheild program in your NC may help if you\'ve mastered the B+Left technique. Other then that, have lots of HP, Custom1 and MegaBusterPluses if you really think you need them.

:lol:Yay! a point of interest that I can help with. My favorite NaviCust program in the entire game is the Reflect program, which you can get (I think) from the bugfrag trader in Undernet 4. this will work wonders for Duo (no point in putting spoilers on, everyone else hasn\'t), when he fires out his rockets and wave-like satelites. things it won\'t dodge: red beam, ground pound, and uber-fist.

My favorite idea for the battle: use a chip like pop-up or invis *, stand on the center front panel, and wait for the uber-fist for your panel to punch. step back, step forward, fire off the GunDelSol. Duo pauses for a while after that attack, giving enough time for you to get in a great amount of damage. other things to note: you cant throw stuff at him, or fire stuff that travels the ground, neither affect him.

I take my leave, now, to try and kill Shademan. by the way, does anyone have a good strategy for killing him off? I know Piledriver, but I need the GunDelSol 2 chip. regular chips don\'t hit him, only my buster does any damage. also, what\'s in the GMD in the upper right corner? I want it, but first I need to kill the batty navi.

I think you fight KendoMan in one of the tournaments. If you do, it\'s probably in the second or third playthrough.

Also, anyone have any idea how I can get another Long Sword S without buying it? I only have one, which I found in a blue mystery data, and I want to have at least two chances at using the Life Sword PA in case I goof up the first one, which is pretty common with me.

You might want to try the chip trader but it will be very hard trying to get on chip and you might not even get the right code either....the only other way I think is by usings Higsbys chip order system...or you could trade with someone else

You can get gun del sol2 in town 4. go to the top right corner and theres an invisible trail it leads to a dude with gun del sol2. I think its free, it might cost something.

Alright, I would have looked this info up myself, but it\'s a very complicated question.
In MMBN4, I participate in Free Tournaments and notice that enemy Navis, in the middle of my best combos, will break out a sort of dark-green vulcan gun and hit me repeatedly, so much that it often results in over 200 damage. I don\'t need tips in avoiding it, I want to know why it\'s there.
Even if it was a P.A., my friends I got Waiting Room data from never used any such Program Advance on their enemies. They also never used a free-standing Vulcan chip with such great power. It might be possible that with only one Vulcan used against an enemy Navi, he can still use the resulting P.A.; However, all of my friends also definitely used Wideshots and Heatshots, and the resulting P.A.s were never used against me by any Free Tournament participants. Why is this huge omni-vulcan gun haunting my Free Tournaments?

No, your game isn\'t messed up (I think). Since GutsMan is only available in Red Sun, you probably don\'t have to collect his chip to get all of the MegaChips in your library. Wait...that would mean Capcom thought about what they were doing! No way! so yeah, your game is probably somehow screwed up.

As for the mysterious green Vulcan: have you been to Higsby\'s shop for the regular stock? at the bottom is a chip called the SuperVulcan, which is a what, 10 or 20-hit vulcan. it\'s a megachip. try buying it, it will do you wonders in battle.

Also, I don\'t know who this was or on which topic they posted, but if it was this one, the reason that your NaviCust will sometimes freeze up during the battle with MegaMDS, is because he used the Red Sun/Blue Moon Giga Chip. that\'s one of the effects: it completely nulls your NaviCust for the duration of the battle.

Totally off topic: YAY! I finally got ShadeMan\'s chip and the GMD in his corner! praise the Megaman gods!

But if I nor my friends ever used that chip, how is it that nearly every free tournament navi I fight uses it on me? Gutsman did, and there\'s no way my friend could have afforded a SuperVulcan that early into the game! :conf:

Well, just because you didn\'t use it doesn\'t mean your enemy can\'t. most of the chips the viruses have don\'t even appear until late in the game, when you get good at avoiding the GMD\'s on the field. I dunno, buy the SuperVulcan and give them a taste of their own medicine, and buy reflect or defend for the NaviCust. that should stop them in their tracks. other than that, I don\'t know what to say.
