The oldest game i have is an old atari video pinball machine. its about a foot wide and six inches long. it runs on six c bateries i think and hooks up to the tv. it has brown plastic and simulated wood look on the top plastic by the knob. ive seen the white models go for $40 but never the brown ones. i bought it for $6.50. The game ive had the longest i dont remember because i grew up with my nes and several games. my parents got it from my grandparents when it first came out. the first games i remember having are zelda, mario/duck hunt, 1943, and some baseball game (MLB i think). Now i still have all those games and about 38 more. i have quite a game collection. mostly rpgs and almost all of the megaman series, but im proud of it. now i want to collect the classic games like contra and metal gear. when i see them at gameswitch...

i never actually played that one but it looks weird. if you ever get into game programming, some of the tutorials are REALLY bad. i have seen tutorials on how to program some crappy stuff. stay with directx.

And yet again, the Phat one steps in to rectify this mess.

No, Pong isn\'t the FIRST.....though it\'s pretty damn close.

The first one was played on the 70\'s supercomputer (Big as a football field..!), and it was one dot chasing another. I can\'t quite remember if you had to run away or catch it, but it had no scoring table, no end, etc....

The first \"console\" was called Channel F, and I quote from a site on this...

\"The first fully programmable video game system is the 8-bit Fairchild Channel F, manufactured by Fairchild Camera and Instrument in 1976, retailing for around US$170. It is originally known as the Video Entertainment System (VES), until Atari releases the similarly named Video Computer System (VCS).\"

The site is here.....read it!

*sticks out toungue* So there!

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.
