Does anyone know if you can use your normal game when you have hard mode?

it\'s doubtful, i already beat the game but i think i screwed up
somewhere and didn\'t enter the hardmode version. either way, i\'m
still going for the aqua style reguardless

Yup. but if you save the hard mode data over the cleared normal data, then it\'s gone for good. You will now be officially playing hard mode, my friend...

Does that mean that saving in hard mode deletes your normal mode save?

I accidentally deleted all my memory in my memory card because use this thing called the\'\'X key\'\'

if you have the american version of mmbn 2 you cannot get the hard mode because you cant get all advances you need 5 stars on the continue and you can get the other 4 stars but the fifth not, because you cannot make the advance darkness (the fifth star is for completing your advance library)


and if you save in the hard mode you save in a private save game for the hard mode so there\'s no danger to save

You have to get all five stars (you know how many you got when you look in your title screen).

I\'ve read on certain web sites that there is a code to be input to unlock the hard mode, is that true? I\'ve heard also that you can get the Sanctuary Chip by beating hard mode, and that you will get your old file back when you finally complete hard mode. Is that true too?

Gameshark can unlock the hard mode but i have not seen that code...

So if play hard mode and save it, my old file will dissapear?

If you save in hard mode you shouldnt lose your normal save file unless you scrw up somehow.:sick::devil::madgo::zzz:

Oh! i just remembered. You can have more than one saved game slot on some GBA gamed. Super Mario Advance 2 can have three saved games slots. Oh, and try to avoid posting in old topics.

but it does affect your game, you know takes more memory and then the game is shorter

but anyway on topic..... you can only get the hard mode if you have a japanese friend (I Do, lots), or have a gameshark (I do)

But hard mode has its own hard mode slot..... what are you guys talking about???
