First, you have to beat Bass GS. Then you have to find many different dark navis on the secret net. You have to beat them in a certain amount of time with your extra folder. Please note, that you have to beat the one that is given to battle by a purple navi, NOT the ones that run loose on the internet.

Darkman: 45 seconds
Japanman: 45 sec
Protoman: 45 sec
Bowlman/Mistman: 45 sec
Kingman: 40 sec
Metalman: 20 sec
Gutsman: 15 sec
Plantman: 40 sec
Flamman: 40 sec
Drillman: 45 sec
Desertman: 45 sec
Bubbleman: 40 sec
Beastman: 30 sec
Flashman: 10 sec

Next, you have to have four stars next to continue on the opening screen.

Purple Star: Obtain all 85 mega class chips

Yellow Star: Beat alpha

Green Star: Defeat Bass GS

Blue star: Obtain all 200 standard class chips.

Then, on the opening screen, push the following buttons in the same order: RRLRLRLL. Then, you can find each navi at a certain internet location.

Plantman: Hospital Comp. #3

In order to get the last to stars on your opening screen, do the following things:

Red Star: Beat all the omega navis.

Orange Star: Complete all 32 program advances.
