Now you got me thinking... Who would really survive against an army of zombies (in "real life")? And, for some reason, I want to say Chris. But then again, Leon could too. Zombies are one thing but the living dead whom he was fighting against in RE4 are much more smarter and quicker than average T-Virus monsters...
That's the main reason why I don't like RE4's Leon. He's pretty emotionless. I'm guessing why the mood change is because of all the stress he's been through. At first, RE2, he is just a rookie cop trying to do his job helping people. Then after Claire dumped Sherry in Leon's care (Which really cheesed him off. Why did she have to abandon them there on the outskirts of town?), he is forced into cooperating with so-called "US agents" because they kidnapped Sherry. Somewhere along the line, he joins some underground group to destroy Shinra-I mean Umbrella (RE3?), getting emails from Claire asking for help (RE:CVX), stopping a boatload of zombies from crashing into unexpecting countries (RE:G... if you consider that game cannon), and getting infected by some unknown virus on that same said boat (again, if you consider RE:G cannon or not).
So, I guess, he turned emo when RE4 came around. We have enough of those characters in many other games.
What I want to know is if he saved Sherry yet or not? I don't remember if Capcom ever mentioned it...
