So what happened to the real X?

Seem\'s to have bcome a cyber elf.

As a cyber elf,does he help you like the other elves?((I got the game today so work with me))

In the first game all he does is talk to Zero in the end.

In Zero 2 he might help you more.

the real X is nothing like an elf, he has taken on a temporary ghost like state, and I am not sure but he might be an interchangeable character later on in the MMZ series

MMZ2 reveals how X came to be in his current state. It is unkown as of yet whether that event is why X vanished or if X vanished prior to it.

I believe that given what X tells you at the end of MMZ1 he dissapeared before the event that put him in his current predicament. Then he came back and wound up in his \"ghost\" state and there was a cover up since the government didn\'t want the public to think X was dead and they had Ciel create a clone to take X\'s place.

but in MMZ2, X is still going to play the same role. You won\'t be able to play as him

Yes, he wont help you, like fight with you, all he does is talk in both MMZ and MMZ2

Can\'t play as X? that sucks. Zero took over the X series so X should be able to do the same for the Zero series. Though, Zero wasn\'t really a playable character until X4 unless you count that you can play a little as him in X3.

I\'m thinking that X may be a playable character by the third or fourth Zero game. If for no other reason than to have an X vs Omega battle. Who knows, if X becomes a playable character then he may actaully recieve as much of the spotlight as Zero got in the later X games(4-6).
