It is alread quite possible though the AI is quite limited but with a big enough budget a company could make one.The main problem would be a computer company willing to develop them but i think Apple computer\'s would do the best job at making such a advanced thing and still portable.::point\'s at iPod::

That would be cool. I had a digimon pet and a giga pet and a tomogochi(spelled wrong). i really hope they do make megaman Pet type things. That would be like sooo awesome.:D:D By the way the show says 2000X which means 2010. That wont be long from now.

A real life PET. Wow the only problem would be making an AI like that. But Also maybe there will be a virtual reality Thing where You can be your own PET. If that did happen it wont take too long. I mean look how much gaming has changed over a span of only ten years from mmx1 to mmbn Transmition.
