If I become a ghost I will make it my mission to rid this board of noobs by haunting them through the internet. Like right when there parents/girl/boyfriend walks in open a web browser of Homosexual porn. lol Or when they try to post on the board change their post. just fun stuff like that. unless the Doc would get angry, then I\'d have to haunt the chat.

I believe in ghosts, both as guardians and enemies. They can prtect you or destroy you, it depends on the ghost. I hope if I find one to communicate with it to tell me about it\'s self and the things it went through in life and what the afterlife is like. Have they been in heaven, hell, or both? If so what were they like and how crampt are they? Now the one everyonhe wants to know, how\'s the service?

Okay, I\'m just going to lay it all out for you guys.
For those of you who don\'t believe in ghosts, you are the only smart ones.
For those that don\'t believe in ghosts or Hell or any of that jazz, you need to get a grip on reality--just like those of you that do believe in ghosts.

I don\'t believe that ghosts are real, I believe that demons are real. People who have seen UFO\'s, ghosts, and whatnot, what you are really seeing is a demon disquised as an alien/ghost/UFO etc, etc. Demons are masters of disquise. However, demons mainly come if you give them spiritual ground(it\'s complicated.)
So, everyone who has seen/heard a ghost/UFO/alien you need to get with God, cause if you don\'t you could end up in real trouble. Demons are not to be underestimated or toyed with.

PS: Stay away from Ouija boards.

Sure, the Bible discounts ghosts, but not aliens. E.T. isn\'t a demon.

Far from being the terrifying apparitions found in folklore, ghosts actually make affectionate pets and are very suitable for children. Friendly and gentle, child development experts claim they are better childhood pets than hamsters.

Do you mean E.T.\'s or ghosts?:conf:
Anywho, the Bible does discount aliens as well. I never read anything in Genesis like \"And God said \'Let there be a little green man on Mars.\' And thus, there were many aliens.\" NO! And God made everything, so no aliens.

It\'s simple really: Lucifer (meaning Light of God) was once God\'s right-hand-man, he was also in charge of worship. However, one day Lu decided HEY! I\'m going to be God! w00t! w00t! (Not exact words) So God gave him the boot into the abyss, took away his name and called him Satan. Satan took with him one 3rd of all the angels. When Lucifer was thrown out of God\'s kingdom, we (humans) were made to serve and worship God. He made us in his image so that we could have free will and such, plus the only things God had to keep him company were the angels. But, angels do not have free will like us--and God wanted someone who would willingly worship him. So, God doesn\'t need aliens, thus he wouldn\'t have made any.

@Psycho: Ouija boards open a spiritual gateway into the demonic realm.
Demons love to trick people into believing they\'re doing one thing when they\'re really just letting them in. When you use a Ouija board you might think that you\'re talking to your Aunt Whistlebritches, but you\'re really talking to one of Lu\'s buddies.
STAY AWAY FROM OUIJA BOARDS! THEY\'RE EVIL!

How is it not backed up by the Bible?! I\'m a christian, I think I should know. BTW, what do you mean your religion? Are you a christian?:conf: I highly doubt it if you think there are ghosts and aliens.

And God said \"Let there be light.\"
You said the Bible didn\'t say anything about other planits, but there\'s the Sun.
And God said \"Let there be lights in the sky to separate day from night. These lights will be used for signs, seasons, days, and years. They will be in the sky to give light to the earth.\" And so it happened.
So God made the two large lights. He made the brighter light rule the day and made the smaller light rule the night. He also made the stars.

There\'s the starts, the Sun and the moon. Nothing but Earth, huh? So ya see, it does tell of other planits. The moon is another planit:P
As for the angel thing, I\'ll look it up later.

Juno I hate to say it but even among rabid Bible thumpers, you\'re just crazy.

You do realize that the Bible you\'ve read doesn\'t even contain all the stories of Christianity? You do know that all most all of the stories of Christ\'s childhood are left out of the bible right? Just because the Bible never mentions it, doesn\'t mean it didn\'t happen or exist. Jesus was a kid at some point. He didn\'t go from baby in the manger to carpenter in a day\'s time.

Just because the Bible never says anything about living creatures in places other than the Earth doesn\'t mean they don\'t exist.

And people who see UFO\'s aren\'t going to hell. Seriously, settle down preacher.

No, I don\'t think there are ghosts, but yes, I do think there are aliens.

But I\'d also like to inform you that you need to stop talking. The Bible doesn\'t give you the authority to declare who is or isn\'t christian, which I can gurantee you I am. Sure, you can say that something they\'re doing may or may not be Christ-like. But the issue of whether someone is Christian or not isn\'t your call. I, for one, am glad.

Quote:
And God said \"Let there be light.\"

Nope. The Sun is a star. God created the stars on Day IV.

Quote:
And God said \"Let there be lights in the sky to separate day from night. These lights will be used for signs, seasons, days, and years. They will be in the sky to give light to the earth.\" And so it happened.

This ain\'t Day I pal. \'Tis Day IV.

Quote:

So we have the Sun, the Moon, and the stars.

1. Stars are not planets. Planets are not stars. Stars are \"burning\" balls of hydrogen gas. The Sun is a star. Mars, is a planet. Mars is not a star.

2. The Moon is not a planet. The moon is a satellite.
As for the angel thing, I\'ll look it up later.
I\'ll take you seriously when you do.

Now, I don\'t mean to be rude, but I think this is an example of why intelligent, theological debates don\'t exist. You\'re inferring so much from the Bible.

God only mentions life on this planet, does that mean that life only exists on this planet? Maybe. But, if it was, then you\'d have to concede that Adam and Eve\'s replacement kid would\'ve had to reproduce asexually, since he and his parents would\'ve been the only human beings alive.

But I want you to answer a question for me. If Earth was the only planet that supported life, if aliens did not exist, then why did God create a vast galaxy? If the only thing that matters is a small hunk of rock, why bother?

And don\'t you dare say that we can\'t understand. If you can claim that God would not create other life, then you can make more assumptions too.

Now, don\'t get me wrong. I don\'t think Juno isn\'t a Christian by any stretch. I just think he\'s wrong in his interpretation. Nor do I agree with his insulting the intelligence, and to extent religion, of those who disagree.

Nah, no ghosts or ghoulies for me, thanks.

On a note of what Juno said earlier, the Bible likely mentions the sun, moon, and stars but not other objects in space because it also goes on to mention how these objects affected the life of the creatures that inhabited God\'s new planet. If the stuff in space didn\'t relate to the current scene (creating Earth), he probably wouldn\'t mention it.
