"Veronica...there seems to be others whom are fighting against the creatures. Wanna give them a hand?" He smirked. Veronica returned it as she cocked her TMP.
"Let's." Bryant nodded as he swung his shotgun onto his back and drew his revolvers. He hit a button with the butt of his magnum and they dissapeared. They returned behind the fighters, away from thier gun fire. The duo grinned at the creautres as a greeting.
"Need help?" Veronica asked aimming her TMP as Bryant did the same crossing his guns. They waited for thier responce both grinning, wanting to help, and give some pay back at the same time.

A warm breath covered the piece in side the temple of fire. There was the figure of something of the dark shade of red, blood. His expression was one of sadness, he turned away from it, digusted.
"Why mustn't I rest?...I died...three..maybe four times. I don't want to walk anymore, I want my soul to be free, have no worries. Though yet I am used, as a tool, by some cruel puppetier who plays with my destiny, like the puppet I seem to be. They feel no remorce for how I end up, dark, light, binded, or free. It is thier will, none of my own. All I can do is sing, like a bird in a cage....." Mourned the figure the looked back at the soul piece then he dissapeared and formed into a statue above it. His look was the same, jacket, t-shirt, jeans, sneakers. So modern for a temple of such age. Though what had changed, as the puppetier would have said, a sword was sheethed on his back. A small one, able to be wielded with one hand with ease, though the hilt was long enough for two. Though against all forces against him, the statue wore a face showing saddness.

Alasea nimbly danced out of the monster's way and struck back. Her blades had been unknowingly charged with light magic, making them more of a danger to the shadow creatures.

R.D. deftly parried the attack with his Phase Blade and pushed the monster back with his foot. He spun around and attacked another creature. "C'mon!" he roared as he fought his way toward the alpha monster.

Without missing a beat, Matt kicked backwards, catching the tiger with his shoe, and as the kick fully arced, he tossed the tiger right at the panther that was about to charge Hsien-Ko.

"Thanks!" Hsien-Ko shouted as her claws went to work on new enemies.

"No problem!" Matt dropped his now empty guns, and they disappeared. "Hugo! Let our powers combine!"

"Hell yeah!" the Mettaur said. "Time for Burning Hugo!"

Hugo raised his pickaxe and slammed it into the ground. Suddenly, his feet became a bold red, and a plume of fire erupted from the top of his similarly red helmet. A similar fire erupted from the business end of his pickaxe.

"Get ready!" Matt spread his hands, summoning fire to hover over his palms. "To quote a much used pun, it's time to heat things up!"

Alasea noticed as the newcomers started blasting the creature she was fighting. She threw them a smile in thanks, and started her own dance-like battle with another centaur creature, with her blades and legs swinging. The teen girl had turned into a little bladed tornado.

R.D. ducked and rolled past the attackin centaur, then charged straight for Lee. "Try fighting us instead of sending your lackeys," he growled. Light once more broke into his reeling mind, but he stayed in control and accessed the powers of the First Cipher. He leapt forward and started slashing rapidly at the monsters' leader.

"Ok, well we'll take that as a yes..." Veronica said smileing back. Though Hugo and Matt seemed to have ignored them, both had begun to open fire on the creatures. Bryant jumped away from Veronica who was doing well with her TMP and hopped off a head of a creature and continued his barage with his revolvers. He spun in the air, delaying his fall and shot off the heads off many of demons.
Veronica was busing herself by shooting down hundreds of demons of her own with her machine gun. Steam poured from the barrel as the hot bullets hit the floor, steaming as well. She turned her body from left to right, oh so slightly, in order to take out more foes.
Bryant had landed by now and was still being his stylish self by flipping, diveing, jumping in random directions. He avoided attacks and knocked down others with his random moves. His revolvers ran dry as a group of demons attacked. He spun his revolvers, hitting several demons in the jaws and such. After getting a few of them off his back, he reloaded and continued destroying demons.

Hugo leapt at Matt, who grabbed the little Mettaur and flung him into the air. As Hugo span around and shot tongues of fire that each seeked a creature of darkness to immolate, Matt brought the fire in his hands together.

With a powerful burst he launched it upwards, forming a great sphere of flame that hovered in the air.

Matt struck a stylish pose that people probably used during crazy dances in the old days. "Dual Tech-Disco Inferno!"

On that cue the sphere span rapidly in place, and as a result, the flame it was made of burst forth, spewing in all directions like long snakes, eaching seeking to strike a new monster.

"Okay, that was odd." Morph concluded. He walked forward to the altar, and he looked at the statue carefully. He stretched out his hand for the Soul Piece as his eyes did not leave the statue. Then, he quickly snagged the piece away from it's spot.

The statue flashed of blood red as the gaurdian leapt forth. He drew his sword to slash Morphman in half after he had grabbed the peice. His face was one of anger, though it was fake, as his eyes easily showed regret. Slaying someone wasn't what he wanted. He was one of pure good, not a dark light in his heart, though the puppetier called fate had other plans, against his will. His sword gleamed of the diamond it was made of, as it came down upon Morphman vertically. The guardian didn't take notice to the person he attacked, he wouldn't want to see the fear in his eyes, that he expected.

Morph dodged the blade of the living statue. "AAHH!" He screamed, as he turned and saw the golems. "Not good!" He quickly started to run for an exit.

The guardian looked at the man blocking his attack, his eyes flared with real anger.
"Reckoning!" He yelled as a white aura surrounded him. "I thought you died to Jaden." He roared, his color came back to his body, blood red hair, blood red jacket, jeans faded in color, brown eyes and black sneakers. Blazen had risen again, though this time not to his liking. His sword pressed hard against Reckoning's. His grip on his sword tightened as white fire, both angelic and real raged around Blazen's body. "Where's the peice?" He hissed.

Veronica flew forward from the flames and landed face down groaning.
"Veronica!" Yelled Bryant as he jumped up fireing his revolver bullets at Cora. His pace quickened on his trigger making his fireing speed increase. As he fired he came closer to Cora, leaning forward.

Morph looked a little beweirded at the guardian, though from a safe distance. "Blazen?" He spoke. "How come...?"

"Eh." Morph looked from Ryan to Blazen quickly, before running after the former, probably trying to get out of the temple. "Why are we running from Blazen exactly?"

"Fair enough." Morph said as he kept running, down the stairs. They reached the hallway with the 4-split way. Morph stopped for a moment. "Wait a second..." He said, holding up his hand in a gesture to stop Ryan also.

"You're right. Sorry for that." Morph replied, and he started running again.

Blazen threw his arms to the side making the flames fly away from his body.
"Reckoning..." He hissed again. He sheethed his sword then ran down after the two, though he didn't bother to notice Morphman yet. The white aura remained forceing his to speed up, getting more air to the flame. He caught up to them quickly and formed a large flame in his left palm and chucked it at the duo, still not takeing notice to the fact the other man was Morphman, thinking it was an ally of Reckoning. "Give me back the piece!" He roared as he threw the flame.

Bryant was hit by the flame, full force, his charred body landed next to Veronica's nonmoving body. When he landed he gave a quick grunt in pain then relaxed and lied still. He was face up, unlike Veronica who was face down.

"Blazen!" Morph exclaimed. He looked at Blazen carefully. He seemed... different. "Why do you want it? Has it actually ever been yours?" He asked.

"Morph?...Don't tell me you have the peice....please! I don't want to kill you too!" Blazen quickened his pace still, and threw more flames, though more directed at Reckoning. "Morph if you have it, don't let me see you with it! Then I won't need to kill you!"

Dark Wolf quickly dashed with uncanny speed to the right of one geyser,then suddently another geyser shot up from underneath him sending him high into the air."Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!" he quickly gertherd himself and positioned for his body to attack,he then shot 2 dozen Gouka spheres and bolt kuro-Raikou soaring for Virus.

"Alright, I DO NOT have the piece!" Morph shouted, emphasizing the "NOT". "But what in blazes is going on, Blazen?" Morph asked him.

Alasea leapt back from her current foe, panting. There were various cuts and bruises on her from where she was struck. Screaming, she threw herself back into the fray. She saw the two people who had helped her earlier struck down by a firedemon, and she charged over to battle it.

R.D. saw the slow movement of the hammer and ducked in the middle of his charge, allowing it to swoop over him. This monster may be powerful, but he, being a human, was faster and more agile. As he came up, his swung up with his blade.

"Morph I'm the guardian of this place, against my will. Because of the fire element of the temple and because my soul was free, as I have died. The temple took me, gave me my body and made the stronger as well. Though all at a cost, I am gaurdian of that soul piece. I never had a choice. I am to kill any of those who have it, weather my body, mind, and soul say against it. No matter what, I am forced to kill any of those who seek the soul piece I guard. So, if you do have it, don't me see it and return it to the alter. I can't hold myself too long, hurry!" Blazen had stopped though his body was leaning forward at Morph and Reckoning, it wanted to slaughter them both for taking the piece. "And go together so I still don't know whitch have it. For if only one goes, it'll be ovious! Hurry!!" He commanded, as his feet slowly forced themselved toward the two. It was as if they were covered in concrete and Blazen could barely move his legs. His left hand began moving for his sword, though it trembled as Blazen faught against it.

Matt looked to the head of the pack where Lee was attacking R.D. with some ridiculously oversized hammer. "Hang on, I'm comin', R.D.!" he shouted.

Matt leapt into the air, and, performing quick movements with his hands, drew some unknown energy toward him. He held out his right arm and the energy convered toward it, gathering into one solid, shining mass.

When the light cleared, it became clear that Matt now held a huge, technolically advanced cannon, and he pointed it at Lee.

"Everyone out of the way!" he shouted.
