R.D. blinked and lowered his hand, though still keeping the energy of the First Cipher ready to fire. "How the fuck...?" he whispered.

Juno's face showed much shock as he heard the voice of Zane come from behind him. He turned himself about and looked at Zaikurmo with shock & confusion. His expression quickly changed to cold & blank, yet angry. "What are you doing here?" He asked Zaikurmo, his tone matching the look on his face.
Roll stood silent, glancing from Juno to 'Zane'. She didn't know what to make of the tension between Juno & 'Zane', so she just watched a moment.
~With Cora~
Cora had been flying over Asia, simply making sure everything was going as it should. Suddenly she sensed the presence of another demon, though not of her kind. "Re-Re." She said with a faint smile.
~With Gouki~
Gouki had fallen asleep shortly after Bryant, but had awoken a mere hour later. He rested his jaw on his hand, and looked down on Veronica. Hm... Together they are strong, but what if they were to be sepperated? What would happen? Would they fight and maybe die to get back to each other, or would they crumble without putting up a fight? He wondered.
~With Namonai & Maya~
"Pah!" Namonai exclaimed mocking the strike. He burst out of the ceiling and shot at Maya like a bolt of lightning.
Maya's eyes widened as Namonai struck her and drove her about a foot into the floor.
Namonai jumped back and landed about 5-feet away from Maya. His form was like an odd ooze for a moment, but quickly returned to how it once was. "I expected more from you..." He stated.
"I'm not done yet!" Maya shouted from behind Namonai as she shot a powerful inferno of Gouka at him.
"Grah!" He let out in pain as the flames tourched his back. He jumped out of the inferno and turned to face Maya from the air. His eyes flashed multiple times and various colors, and then dozens of blasts shot at Maya from all directions.
Maya shielded herself with a barrier of Kuro-Raikou, and waited out the attacks.
Namonai looked at the body he had struck intot he floor as it faded away. "A body double... Smart."
~With Lee~
Lee's eyes widened as he saw the terrible perdicament he was caught in. He glanced around and then turned his gaze back to Matthew. "You cheated." He said sorrowful. I hoped the day I died I would go down at the hands of a worthy and honorable opponent... But I now see honor is a thing of the past. He thought as he let his head hang low. "Before you finish me I have these words to pass on to you..." Lee rose his head and looked at Matthew. "Those who live without honor shall end without honor."
Zaikurmo (DAZ): Hmm, what am I doing here? I'll give you guys a moment to yourselves.
*Zaikurmo (DAZ) walked out of the room, leaving Juno and Roll to have there little talk.

R.D. sighed and shook his head at Lee's statement. "Monsters know nothing of honor," he said quietly, then raising his voice for Matt, "Just put an end to this, Matt."

Re-Tuul watched as Cora came closer. Seems she's detected my 'intrusion,' the demon thought. He wondered if she would attack.

"Before I kill you I want to pass a word onto your superiors, because I know they're listening," Matt said without raising his head. "You have no business in these affairs. You have no business attacking us. And I swear..."
He raised his head, and the expression that graced his face was not a pleasant one. "If you continue to interfere with my mission, and continue to harm innocents in your mad quest...I will break down space and time itself if I must to ensure that your evil is stopped."
He snapped his fingers. "Iron Maiden."
The swords attacked.
Lee looked to R.D. and said, "Hmph. I may be a beast, but that does not mean I am without honor. I kept to my word, and only fought hand-to-hand, one on one." He paused and then added, "You, all of you, do not know the true essense of honor, or simply don't have it."
Lee was silent again just before the swords ran him through. "Grahg..." He let out, making a gagging sound just before vanishing as if he'd never been.
A huge black portal appeared before Matthew, and a massive hand with 10 fingers reached out and tried to grab him. "I accept your challenge!"
~With Juno~
Roll just looked at Juno confused for a moment, and then blinked twice. "I'm only gonna ask this once: What is going on here?!"
Trigger & Juno cringed slightly as Roll yelled, but Trigger was the first to say anything. "Well, we're in the middle of trying to save the world."
Roll looked at Trigger and raised one eyebrow. "Hey, how'd you get here?"
"Kouken brought me here." Trigger answered.
"Uh-huh..."
Using what little time he had, Juno teleported outside of the room and appeared a couple feet in front of Zaikurmo. "What are you up to?" He asked coldly.
~With Cora~
Cora landed a few feet to Re-Tuul's left and folded her arms. "What the devil are you doing here, Re-Re?" She demanded.

InactiveBryant woke up a few hours later. He didn't open his eyes, he was scared to. "Maybe it was all just a dream. Maybe I'll wake up in my apartment, my shitty apartment. Yeah...I'm sure." He opened his eyes, no. He was still in the throne room, on the floor. His body still burnt. "Fuck." He cursed in his head as he looked around, not moving his head.
Zaikurmo (DAZ): Setting things straight. I know, I know. Since when will I try to restore order? Well, this is the kind of order I like. Heh. I'm also helping Morphman on a quest... for revenge. In return, he is awakening my master. Not NightShade. NightShade was the one who brought me into this world, that doesn't mean he is my TRUE master. Now don't you have something else to say to your little girl?

R.D. watched as the blades swooped in to end Lee. "Maybe so," he replied quietly, drawing the attention of the girl at his side, "But if it means ending scum like you and being one step closer to ridding the world of monsters like you, then I'm down with living without honor."
R.D. looked up just in time to watch the hand in the portal reach for his friend. "MATT!" he shouted, running forward.

Re-Tuul glanced at Cora's poise. "The government in this region of the world is still functioning, so I daresay it's a free country," he replied, "Come. Sit."

"Unless she walks in on me brutally killing you, I think I'm good." Juno said as he glared at Zaikurmo with contempt. In a flash of light Juno transformed into his form very much like Kuro's DarkEmperor, but light. He thrust his right palm forward and launched a powerful sphere of AngelWater right at Zaikurmo's face.
~With Gouki~
"Hoped you'd be somewhere else?" Gouki asked, noticing the expression on Bryant's face.
~With Cora~
"No thanks. Last I checked we hated each other, and I don't sit by people who might try and kill me." Cora replied, staying right where she was.
Inactive"Maybe..." Bryant responded. Getting up, he was able to stand now. He looked over to Veronica, she was still asleep. He sighed then looked back Gouki.
"Well, what are we to suffer?" He asked, expecting death, a battle till death, anything that had to do with him Veronica, or both, dieing.
"Hmm," Re-Tuul responded, "We are not at the island. You are not busy trying to spark something that'd end up destroying all of us. So no, I have no desire to kill you, little Cora."

*The Angel Water on Zaikurmo's face dissapated, along with his disguise.
Zaikurmo: True. *He said with a glare* But she will still ask why I told her that you killed her brother! Killed or not, I still win!

"WHAT?!" Juno exclaimed, his eyes widened greatly. "I'm gonna..." Juno was tempted to say it, but should he really follow through with it? I am going to make you pay... "DRAAH!" He shouted as he put his wrists together and shot a beam of AngelWater at Zaikurmo.
~With Cora~
"Still..." Said Cora. "And if you call me 'little Cora' again I'm gonna kick your ass so hard it'll make your nose bleed." She said glaring at Re-Tuul.
~With Gouki~
"Oh, I have something interesting planned for you two." Gouki replied, a sly grin on his face. "Minions!" He called and 5 fire demons rushed to his side. "Take the woman to Sheena, and leave him here with me." He ordered his demons. The five ran over to Veronica and two took hold of her, the other 3 guarded the 2 other demons in case Bryant tried something.
Matt had enough time to see the hand reach out for him, trying to leap away. "Sweet Mexican BACON!"
(OOC: Why Mexican?)
The hand, being as large as it was, had no problem getting Matthew in its grip. Once it did it went back into the portal, and the portal vanished.
The hand released Matt, dropping him on a shadow covered, stone floor. On the floor was a giant black throne, and in it sat Donovan, The Dark Master of the shadow creatures.
OOC: Purely random. By the way, is this Darkstalkers Donovan or a different Donovan?
"MATT!" Hugo screamed in anger, running toward the portal as Matt was taken, futilely shooting at it, even after it closed.

"Ow!" Matt grasped his head, glanced up. "...I don't recall scheduling this trip..."
R.D. rushed over to the others, looking warily at where the black portal was. "What the hell was that thing!?" Alasea shouted.
===With Re-Tuul===
"Oh, no longer amused by the little nickname? A shame," the Khaglessi remarked, "Though you're no longer a child, I suppose."
He mused silently for a while on the rooftop, noting Cora's wary eye. Finally, he broke the silence. "Tell me, Cora, what do you think of the humans?"

InactiveBryant didn't protest. He watched as the demons took her body away.
"You plan to seperate us....heh." He looked back to Gouki. "You wanted to see me alone I assume....well?" He crossed his arms, knowing he was to die soon, he was fearless.

"Oh, but you did when you dared to threaten me." Donovan said in response to Matthew's statement. "Now human, I have one thing to ask..." Donovan slowly rose to his feet, standing with his back straight and his head looking down at Matt. "Are you ready to fight?!"
~With Gouki~
Hm... So, he does not care for her. But does she care for him? Gouki thought.
The demons flew off with Veronica, heading for Antarctica to give her to Sheena. All 5 left, 2 to carry her, the others to guard against anything that may come their way.
"Tell me about yourself, rebel. Who are you?" Said Gouki.
"Another damn portal! And I don't think we've got a way to track him!" Hugo swung his pickaxe. "F***!"
"We've got to do something!" Hsien-Ko said, just as distressed.
"I know, I know!" Hugo snapped back.

"To be honest, not really, but you don't sound like you really care about that..." Matt glanced up all the way. "...damn, you're tall."
R.D. looked around the ruins. "Hugo, shut up," he commanded, gaining him an angry glare and his attention. "All of you, split up. Start looking for underground passages in the temples and houses. Maybe we can find something that'll allow us to get Matt back before something bad happens."
The amnesiac teen clenched his free hand, causing it to glow fiercely with the power of Lumiya inside him. "And be on your guard. I doubt we saw the last of that monster's minions around here."

Donovan said nothing in response, just smirked. He aimed his left first finger at Matthew and shot a huge shadow-energy sphere at him, about the size of 2 one-ton trucks.
~With Cora~
"I don't." Cora answered. "I slay or imprisson the ones I am ordered to, and the others don't matter." She explained rather bluntly.
Re-Tuul looked over at Cora briefly, then chuckled. "Is that so?" he asked, "No wonder you did so poorly on the island."
The Khaglessi stood up to his full height, towering over Cora, though he faced away from her. "The humans shouldn't be objects of scorn. They're too dangerous for that. After all, you saw how well that girl did facing you."

"Hold it!" Hugo demanded. "Since when are YOU in charge?!"
Surprisingly, Hsien-Ko stomped over to Hugo, crouched, and spun the little Met around to face her angry eyes. "Hugo, if you want to find Matt, you need to shut up, swallow your pride, and just start looking!"
Uneasy silence followed as Hugo made what seemed like a poor attempt to visibly control his anger, but finally, he spat out a "Fine!" and waddled off.

"Oh, bloody hell."
Matt did his best to leap away from the blast, but the explosion was enough to catch him, knocking him into the distance and onto the ground again, accompanied by a lot of pain.
"...I hate my job," he muttered into the ground.
"You of all beings should know I was merely toying with the girl, up until you came in." Cora said plainly. "Had you not showed up she'd be ashes."
~With Donovan~
Donovan aimed his first 2 fingers on his left hand at Matthew and fired another blast, but twice as large. How sad... He thought to himself.
The plan decided, the four of them went off in seperate directions. R.D. went through the gap in the wall that they were trying to proceed through when they were attacked, and found several large temples beyond it. "My god," he muttered, "What is it with these people and their cities?"
Alasea soon followed him through the wall, holding the dragon statue of Matt's. She wandered off to one of the temples, and R.D. went up the steps of another one, stopping at a small altar. He examined it, but found nothing. "Damn," he swore softly. He looked up, past the temples, at what appeared to be a very large arena next to the very back of the island; a cliff. When he gazed on the ruined battleground, his heart seemed to stop.
===With Re-Tuul===
"Were you, now?" Re-Tuul asked, smirking. "Again you show how inept you really are. I don't doubt you could've destroyed the girl, but you failed to take in the full threat."
He finally turned to Cora. "You see, she was not the real danger. The two boys were, especially the one with the sword. Did you not feel their power? Had you done something to the girl, those two would've brought the island down around our heads."
Re-Tuul smiled. "Even your vaunted king would've fallen before them. You know that we Khaglessi are some of the most powerful lesser demons to have existed. Yet it was that human boy that reduced the nine of us down to one."
The Khaglessi's smile turned to a sneer as he brought his gaze back onto the city. "He managed to destroy eight of us in one single battle, because of what we did. Eight of us, torn to pieces by a boy no older than sixteen years of age." He brought his hand down to the scar on his stomach. "I escaped, barely. All I got was this and the memories of my brothers being destroyed one by one."
He looked back at Cora. "So take heed to the advice I gave you and Gouki back at that island. Be wary of the humans; don't underestimate them. Even we are not invulnerable, and they have proven time and time again to be capable of anything."

Matt listened to another of Donovan's shots go off. Damn it, after that big ol' speech I can't just lie down here and get blown up!
He stood quickly, weakly, waited for it to come closer. Like HELL I'm just gonna lie down! The whole damn Multiverse is depending on the Core...
With a mighty yell and a swing of his combined fists, Matt struck the blast and sent it flying back at Donovan. And I ain't gonna let anything stop me!
