The ongoing story of the people aboard the S.S. Calmwaters

Morph frowned when he saw the trail of black flames behind his companion. That seems... familiar. He thought. But it did not matter all that much, did it? After all, they needed to collect the Soul Pieces. He looked before him, and he thought he could see a purple shimmer at the horizon. "That is where we are going!" He shouted towards Ryan. "Last one to get there is a fricken' newbie." He grinned, and increased his flying speed, shooting forward and taking the lead.
Ryan looked at the purple shimmer and laughed a little at what Morphman said. "Oh-ho, racing me is not wise." Ryan's body became engulfed in Gouka and he shot past Morphman like lightning and stopped right before what was but a purple shimmer before and waited for Morph, his body no longer covered by Gouka.
"Nevermind." Morph said, just waving it away. "We'll just have to walk through that Stargate-like thing, and we'll get to the Temple." He shrugged. "Sounds easy enough to me." Morph spoke. He walked forward, up to the Gate. He stuck his hand out towards the shimmering purple surface, but retracted it before he touched it. "Comin'?" He asked his companion, turning a little towards him.
(OOC: Well... Zane is not around. I'll just try to think of something that perhaps resembles a dream best. >_>)
Then Morph and Thresh had stepped through the Gate, they found themselves in a really odd place. Things seemed not really in place, and colours changed a little bit, from light red to light pink and back, for instance. (Not that something light red/pink was around. Just an example.)
"Where is the Temple?" Morph asked. "Can you see it from here?"
Ryan looked around in desgust, and let out a sound one might make at the sight of something rancid. It just had to be pink. He thought with a bit of anger. "Where is the Temple? Can you see it from here?" Ryan heard Morphman ask, and turned his head to him for a couple seconds, and then glanced around. "Maybe there is no temple. Perhaps there's going to be some other kind of test, or whatever." He said plainly. "Or maybe we're already in it." He added as he turned his head to Morph again.
Ryan Thresh looked around, his eyes narrowed a little. "For some reason...I don't think we're in Nightmare Real anymore." He shook his head lightly. "No. We're somewhere far more dangerous." He looked back at Morphman and spoke again. "Though it doesn't have a 'you are dead' look to it that doesn't change the fact that it is indeed very dangerous."
(OOC: Ooh! Pick me! I have an idea! :P)
*As Morphman and Ryan walked down what resembled a road, the surroundings around them began to change. They were now in a chamber... a torture chamber. They looked around, and saw a demon-like being strapped up to a [what do you call them. A stretcher?] He has pitch-black skin and deep red eyes. His wings were torn at the ends due to what he has been through. There were others here as well, two men. These men were the tormenters, torturing the demon. It also seems that the demon has been through other contraptions as well, because you can see blood everywhere, mostly around these benevolent tools. These men had no powers whatsoever, neither did the demon. They were normal humans, and apparently racist against demons. They saw these demons as "tools of amusement", if you catch my meaning.
*The demon started to shriek out bloodcurdling screams. It also looks like the men were prepared because they had earplugs. They slowly began to operate the [stretcher?].
Nightmares are dreams that need re-coding.
"i find this sad." Rugal crossed his arms. "You would think that two warriors of your caliber could best me...but that's clearly not the case."
He drew his arm back. "I guess I'll finish you off now and continue with other business."
"Up for a little fastball special?" Matt asked, lowering his hand to Hugo's level.
The little Mettaur hopped on. "Let's do it!"
Matt leaned back like a professional baseball pitcher and let the Mettaur fly. Brining his pickaxe behind him, Hugo used its fire to generate extra propulsion, launching at Rugal's back.
"Go!" Matt commanded to Alasea.
"You talk too much," R.D. quipped.
Alasea dashed forward, easily catching up to Hugo's speed, and brought her blades down low to strike.
R.D. saw the two of them begin their attack and smirked, yet kept his eyes on Rugal so he didn't alert his opponent.
"So, Long, Tall, and Ugly," R.D. said to catch his attention, "Ready for round two?"
R.D. thrust his Phase Lance forward, shouting, "Thunderbolt!" A powerful tine of lightning lanced out of his sword, streaking forward at Rugal.

Rugal's sidestep was more of a side-teleport, and the lightning bolt grazed off of Hugo's helmet as a result. Rugal didn't skip a beat-he seized Hugo, and tossed the swearing Mettaur at R.D., immediately turning to launch a Reppuken at Alasea.
Of course, Matt expected this. But this was all a big set-up for his own attack.
"Let's rock," Matt remarked to Hsien-Ko, and they ran in different directions toward the battle.
R.D. easily caught the Mettaur with his free hand. "Get ready, Hugo! Here we go!" he shouted as he spun with the catch, throwing Hugo right back at Rugal. After doing so, he split his sword in two, and blasted forward with both Phase Blades flashing in his hands.
Alasea barely managed to dodge the shockwave attack of Rugal's, and tried to close the distance. Judging the speed of R.D.'s dash, she timed herself so they'd be able to strike at the same time.
Rugal just raised his hands in a large display, and slammed them on the ground. "Raging Storm!"
Fangs of dark violet energy erupted around the new wielder of Psycho Power. Hugo's helmet struck the barrier, and swearing, the Mettaur was knocked aside for a great distance.
Alasea saw the attack and skidded to a halt, nearly falling over backwards in front of it before leaping back, watching Rugal warily.
Growling, R.D. stopped and channeled energy into his twin swords. They glowed brightly in his hands, and R.D. shouted, "Kougenjin!" as he slashed, launching a pair of energy arcs crossed over each other like an X at Rugal.

(OOC: THD, isn't Ragin Storm Geese Howard's attack?)
Ryan tried to hold back his grin at the sight of what was being done to the fiend, but a very faint smile crossed his face. "Well... What do you propose we do?" He asked Morphman, his voice void of emotion.
~Elsewhere~
The man in the Gi continued to watch, though he was getting quite bored with the fight. Even though the opposing warriors showed a fair deal of power, they didn't seem to be powerful enough to defeat Rugal. "Stop playing, Rugal." He said quietly.
OOC: It is. I figured, "Well, Rugal stole Reppuken, he might as well steal this one." Also, no one interfere at this part of the battle-it's time for another awesome Dual Tech.
In the very sparse moment that passed where Rugal was open to an attack, after recovering from the Raging Storm, R.D.'s Kougenjin slammed into his chest.
"NOW!" Matt shouted, as he and Hsien-Ko appeared on opposite sides of Rugal. He made a strange pose, leaning back as he extended his arm, his hand pointing down. It was enough to call chains from the earth, streaking toward Rugal. Hsien-Ko slammed her claws to the ground to summon chans of her own, and, in his own moment of shock, Rugal was bound by their steel masses.
"What's this?!" he snapped.
Matt smirked, as the sky darkened, the world itself preparing for the great display of power to follow. "Final Battle! GO!"
R.D. looked at Matt in surprise. He had figured he'd be down for the count. It seemed like he had at least one more ace up his sleeve, however, and knowing Matt, it'd be flashy. And also knowing Matt, if they didn't get out of the way they'd get caught in whatever Matt did.
"Alli! Get the hell outta there!" he screamed to the girl as he ducked into a large rock, causing her to follow suit and get behind cover in another rock.

The sky grew dark, and cloudy. Thunder rumbled within, interlaced with flashes of light amid the thick, smoky heavens.
"Here we go!" Matt spread his arms, and amazingly, miniature portals opened on front of him. From each of these portals, a thin, whining barrel emerged, and when six of them had assembled, they fired rapid bolts of energy at the struggling Rugal, who could do nothing but bear the relentless attack. Meanwhile, Hsien-Ko's sleeve strained as something attempted to force its way out-only when she lashed it back did the tremendous spiked mace burst forth, and, wielding the heavy chain it was attached to with expert ease, she smashed the heavy weapon into Rugal just as Matt ceased his rapid-fire cannon attack.
But even though he cried out in pain for the first real time in the battle, Matt and Hsien-Ko weren't done yet. They crouched, and made a bold leap into the air, higher, and higher, until they appeared to vanish.
A flash of lightning dispelled this theory, revealing the giant sword that hovered over Rugal, and the host of archaic and modern weapons that made a broken halo about the sword.
All of them were pointed at Rugal.
Atop the hilt of the sword, divided by its large handle, Matt and Hsien-Ko spoke as one. "Dual Tech-Ultimate Arsenal!"
The weapons attacked, and the sword descended toward Earth.
R.D. looked up at the monstrous weapon in the sky, and muttered, "Showoff."
Ultima layed back with a yawn."Well isn't this fun theres nothing whatsoever to do here"He jumped up and looked around."might as well go pester someone"
Fire from the cannons struck all around Rugal, covering him amid the explosions, and the swords and spears struck through the smoke, and above it all, the giant sword's point beared down over their enemy.
"Eat this, BITCH!" Hugo shouted.
They all expected to succeed, of course, but Matt, naturally, was a paranoid person. Somehow, in the back of his mind, a nagging voice brought up the possibly bad fact that somehow, someway, Rugal would manage to somehow fight back.
He was right.
Amid the smoke, a giant pillar of Psycho Power erupted forth, comsuming the sword as Rugal, having broken free of his chains, stopped the sword's descent with a single fist.
"Oh, DAMN-" Matt began to shout, as the sword shattered, and he and Hsien-Ko sailed through the air, carried by the resulting shockwave that knocked everyone in the vicinity down.
R.D. stood and coughed violently, glaring at Rugal. As the smoke cleared and Rugal reappeared, R.D. stretched his arms out, holding his swords blade pointed up, and focused the First Cipher energy. Pillars of energy exploded from the Phase Blades. R.D. fell into a combat stance, while holding his left-hand blade on his opposite side, while his right-hand blade was held behind his back.
"Shin Kougenjin!" roared the amnesiac teen as he swung both blades, one after another.
One massive horizontal arc blade blasted forward at Rugal, followed by another vertical one that cut through the ground. Both blade beams streaked towards Rugal at a rapid pace.
