DragonFire: Hmph, too easy... *he quickly knocks them out cold and hands them over to the police*

Police Officer: Wow, thanks.

Dragonire: Anytime... *he walks away* Hmm, I should find Juno... *he flies away in search of Juno* Hmmm.... Where could he be...

"Anyways," R.D. said to Juno, "I'm sure you're wondering why we came to Kattelox."

Matt glanced up at the ceiling in thought. "...I forgot."

"Maaaaaatt!" Hsien-Ko whined, clenching her fists before her. "How could you forget so easily?"

"I have a bad memory, okay? Nothin' I can do!"

"We're here to request aid," Mei-ling said to Juno. "It seems the Seven are actively making attempts to hunt us, and we believed that since you know of them, you could help us somehow when they attack."

"And Vagabond's been dreamin' about ya," Hugo mentioned offhandly.

Matt made a dismissive sound. "Pass. I got better crap to do."

"Matt, you can't just disregard what has descended upon this land," Mei-ling said.

Matt glanced at her. "Maybe I can't...but I've still got a package to deliver. Unless Ziatoch feels it neccessary to get in my way, I'd rather get you both home and get where I need to go."

"Our job's a bit more important," Hugo added.

R.D. snorted and leaned up against one of the walls, folding his arms. "The least you can do is help us figure out why they're after us," he said to Juno.

He looked over at Matt. "We know... two good reasons why they'd be after us. But we haven't got any proof."

R.D. closed his eyes and sighed. "And, well, now I have your enemy's leader after my head personally," he continued, "So that's a drag."

"Well," Alasea spoke up, slightly hesitant, "Do you think you can keep the Seven Beasts concentrated on this war so they'll leave us alone?"

R.D. was silent after Juno spoke.

The believe you can become a threat. If you possess incredible power they will consider you a threat to Maya's kingdom, and terminate you.

Lumiya. A weapon beyond human comprehension. A weapon that can destroy the world.

"Then I'll deal with Maya when the time comes," R.D. said decisively, "Until then we make do."

He got up off the wall and walked over to the viewscreen. He was looking at the new form on the map, which had switched to a world view. He pointed at it.

"Tell us what the hell that... thing is."

R.D. gave Juno an annoyed look.

"No."

He pushed his finger on the screen over Shayol Ghul.

"That," he said, "The thing that's where Australia is supposed to be."

R.D. gave Juno a strange look, then turned his gaze to Matt. "C'mon," he said, motioning his friend over, "You should probably see this too."

"Damn, am I gonna have to learn something?" Matt joked, walking over.

"Well, that sounds positive," Matt remarked. "But I think I know where you're going with this."

R.D. whistled. "I'm probably not going to like what you're trying to tell me, am I?" he asked.

"So what happened to Kuro?" Hsien-Ko asked.

"Power doesn't die though, does it?" R.D. said suddenly, "Power is energy. Energy cannot be destroyed, so it has to go somewhere."

He looked over at Juno. "So where did Kuro's go?" he asked, fearing the answer.

"So, the remaining ninety-seven percent can be accessed by Maya at will," R.D. said, thinking back to how she claimed to be the one who released the Seven. "So... unless I'm mistaken... the more Beasts destroyed, the less power Maya has. Right?"

(OOC: I knew it. I fricken' KNEW IT! Kuro is behind it all again! And Maya didn't kill Juno (the character), simply because Juno (real one) controls Maya! It all makus such sense now! Still, I have no idea who is inside Maya... Juno said it wasn't Kuro, but now I don't believe that anymore for 100%.)

Morph looked at Ryan, then sighed. What he said made sense. He made the energy sphere disappear. "Alright." He said. He looked at Sunday. "If you wish to fight me, we should get out of this place first. We are collecting the so-called Soul Pieces, things of little worth, but they'll get us all out of here." He explained. "So if you wish that..." He didn't finish his sentence, simply leaving the ending hanging the air, by flying off into the direction of the next Piece.

"I don't give a damn," Matt said. "If I have to I'll kill them all. Besides..." He rubbed his chin. "Now that I think about it, killing those bastards might be the thing I have to do in this world..."

"What do you mean?" Mei-ling asked.

"Not only do we have to find the right dimensional rip to go to the next dimension," Hugo explained, "but there's usually something else we gotta do so it'll turn on, for some reason."

"Kuro was supposedly the greatest being of evil out there, right?" he asked Juno, albeit he wasn't even going to wait for an answer. "But even he fell. No one is invincible, and that means the Seven and Maya aren't either."

R.D. raised his hand up in front of him and stared at the palm. There was a flash of light, and a sphere of plasma slowly revolved in the air above it.

"Once the Seventh Cipher is unlocked..." he stated, then closed his hand around the orb of energy tightly, causing it to flash out of existence. His face tightened into a determined scowl.

"... I'll take care of everything."

Alasea looked over at him. "You'll go after her alone?" she asked.

"Oh hell no!" R.D. looked at Alasea as if she were crazy. "I'll take all the damn help I can get."

"Someone's a bit dramatic," Matt remarked, folding his arms. "But...hell, I probably need to get involved anyway, so I'm in."

"I gotta make sure this idiot doesn't do anything stupid," Hugo added, poking Matt's leg lightly with his pickaxe. "I'm in."

Hsien-Ko looked to her sister. "Even though we may be stuck here...we should try to help."

"I agree." Mei-ling said. "We will help as well."

Kalmar Uverth... how long had he been going by that name? Too long, he thought,I still miss her... a random thought jumped out of his head. His mind wandered back over the years melting his focus on reality, as the years seemed to rewind all around him.

His mind suddenly refocused, bringing a beautiful woman into view. Her long red hair framed her pale face, her bright green eyes piercing through the years to stare once again at her lover. He shuddered as a slow smile spread across her face. Not because of some newly revealed flaw on her gorgeous face, but because Kalmar still remembered over all these years what happened when she smiled.

I still miss you,he said aloud, though he did not know it. He thought about one day going back to her, to the temple she lived in, forest surrounding it completely for miles. His mind continued to wander through the plethora of sounds and memories that occupied that part of his life.

I wonder what she's doing now...
