Morph smiled a little at Dokuro's enthusiasm. He slightly reminded him of one of his friends... well, former friends at least. Wasn't Blazen always so eager and hyperactive?

(OOC: No, but if I have to guess, around 39? No wait... there was Legion, I think... a good 10 pages before that?)

Morph reached the end of the second stairs. Walking around for a bit, he knew it was even further down to reach the Piece. However... shadows stirred behind him.

"I suppose neither of you knows any light-based attacks?" Morph asked. He put away the compass and took out both of his weapons. He looked around. There were quite a bit of beings out there, surrounding them.

"Time to start and end this with some kick!" Matt shouted, taking an open stance and raising a finger to the sky. "Vorpal Storm!"

Dark, thick clouds rolled in above them, booming with thunder. With a flash, thin blades of energy poured down from the heavens, spiralling in their flight. The massive rain of blades spread over the whole area, aiming specifically at their enemies and seeking to impale them.

R.D. looked upward again and muttered, "Showoff." He spun the Phase Blades in his hands began striking at monsters amidst the confusion.

DragonFire: I can't... No... Wha...

*DragonFire has lost his will to fight, his pride stolen, his spirit shattered*

DragonFire: Noo... NO!!

Dark Dragon: Master? what's wrong?

Dragonfire: This can't be... noo.... *he lets the barrier down and flies away in a hurry*

Dark Dragon: Master wait!! *he looks at carnax* Noo... Fine... I'm gonna make you pay!!!

*Dark Dragon attacks Carnax alone*

Kalmar yelled as a large group of enemies surrounded him, and a claw raked his back. He quickly spun in a circle, striking any demons that came close. He stopped his rotation by taking a knee, rolling towards the nearest enemy and jumping upward. The two halves of the demon fell aparty slightly before rushing towards the gem on his sword.

The surrounding group of shadow creatures backed off for a moment, allowing Kalmar a slight respite.

"I'm wasting my time," he growled as he glanced over at RD, throwing himself into the fray again, "and your keeping me from my prize!"

His sword glowed as Kalmar put both hands on the hilt. The blade began to split, quickly becoming two as he spread his hands apart. The two blades looked identical as Kalmar held them at his sides, growling at the surrounding enemies.

A creature slightly behind him leapt at Kalmar, only to be sliced neatly in half by one of his blades.

"Soon RD, you will face me," he muttered as he stabbed another creature, using it's momentum to throw it at a group of them, "then you will know true fear."

"Well, hey there."

Standing back to back with Kalmar with Matt, in an easy stance with his own energy blade. "Haven't seen you around here before. What're you doin' in these here parts?"

Kalmar looked at the boy behind him, sizing him up from underneath his black cloak. His body was totally covered, only his red eyes shone through the hood.

"I am here under my own power, and my business does not concern you," he smirked at the man behing him.

Matt didn't look directly at Kalmar, too busy on focusing on attacking monsters before him. "Oh, I dunno...if you're talkin' about puttin' the big hurt on R.D....yeah, that may concern me." He was talking easy, but still tensed, ready to act if need be.

Kalmar tensed at the man's words, sensing the man was testing him. He turned back towards the creatures in front of him, backing them away with his blades.

"I am here to regain my humanity," he muttered to the man as he slashed a creature's skull in half before absorbing it, "other then that, you need not concern yourself."

He combined his swords into one again with a dark flash, and used his free hand to pull his cloak tighter around himself.

Matt's tone remained conversational-it just came easiest to him, even when concerning such potential dangerous events. "Well, last time I checked, killin' someone to regain your humanity wasn't a good thing." His blade pierced a monster's chest, pushing the corpse away with his foot. "Unless he's a bad guy. But R.D. ain't a bad guy."

Kalmar slashed at a creature, only to have it roll away. He quickly kicked the creature and impaled it to the ground with his blade.

He sighed as he pulled his blade out, moving into a defensive stance, "I'm sorry, but there is no other way." He glanced over at RD and the surrounding horde, wondering when their battle would finally begin.

Matt's tone grew colder. "You do realize that if you try to attack him, I will have to stop you."

(OOC: Well the plan for Kalmar is all out of whack now... -_-)

R.D. was getting annoyed with getting surrounded and offered a chance to come with them. "Why won't you idiots get it!?" he screamed as he brought his blades down in wide arcs, cutting monsters apart. He formed the Phase Lance and spun it around, bringing it behind him in a ready stance with one hand. He focused all his power into his hand and slammed it downward.

The resulting Earth Gaizer quake spread across the entire port, causing explosions underneath all of the monsters and weakening the structures. "Anyone else want to fuck with me!?" he screamed over the din of combat.

Kalmar turned towards the boy, his voice like ice, "I am here for my own reasons. You will not interfere."

OOC: Uh oh. Did I mess something up?

(OOC: No, I think I did. O.o' )

(OOC: Nope, THD did. No one in the group was supposed to see him, that way he'd get the jump on me. I'll work with it.)

OOC: Meep. Super apologies. Well, I guess we're even now, R.D. XD

"I'll interfere if I fucking want to," Matt replied, tightening the grip around his blade. He watched the shadows melt away, toward their commander.

(OOC: Juno's in the clear. The only people that'd be in trouble for meeting Kalmar were R.D., Alasea, Matt, Hugo, Hsien-Ko, and Mei-ling. And maybe Vagabond/Mars. Yes, yes we are. XP)

"WHAT PART OF NO DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!?" R.D. screamed back, charging up a pair of plasma blasts and firing them at Draco.

R.D. growled and ducked under the offending arm, coming up with an overhead slash at the arm with one sword while slashing at the monster's legs with the other.

"Get your damn hands OFF!" Matt shouted, leaping at Draco and driving his blade at the monster's back.

Hugo laughed as he ran into the fray. "I love a good boss battle!"
