R.D. growled as he dropped down through the air. He activated the Godhand again, and as the three beams zeroed in on them, he actually caught them all, and which his hand protected by Godhand and his body protected by a barrier, he forced the Gouka into a ball. "Heh," he chuckled, "I thought you guys weren't supposed to kill me?"

Alasea's eyes widened, and then she cursed herself. "Why am I so stupid?" she asked as she drew her short swords. With cartoonish hilarity, she spun the weapons into a look of a silver discus, then struck at all nine beams headed for them. The Reverser Strike caused the beams to morph into water... water that blasted along the length of the beam towards Bruno, threatening to turn him into water, too.

OOC: Care to give us a way to hit this guy, Juno?

(OOC: Not angry, just out of ideas on how to attack him.)

"Eep!" Alasea made a little shriek as she jumped back from the Fuzen-Mizu. Dammit! she thought, This stupid cartoon body is limiting my power! It wouldn't have been so bad if I had my original form!

"Can you give us our bodies back!?" she shouted over the din at Matt.

R.D. analyzed the Gouka in his hand, seeing the strength he'd need to counter it. He then smiled. He found the amount he needed, so he quadrupled it. He threw the Gouka away, incinerating a monster with it, then summoned up a geyser underneath Bruno with enough energy to counter the Gouka no matter what.

"Eat this, asshole!" he shouted as he stabbed the energized Phase Blade into the geyser, powering it up even more.

OOC: And not spamming Gouka would help too, thanks.

(OOC: And of course, no known character but Awai and Juno can use AngelWater. =P)

Morph slowly came into a fetal position as the massive bursts of lightning forced a lot of pain on him, causing only his mind and soul to be safe, but that wouldn't be much of help. He endured it, but mentally, he was screaming in agony.

(OOC: And now me, as I've already used it.)

R.D. spun and caught the beam with the Godhand. It slowly forced him back, his feet sliding against the ground, and he grit his teeth. After a moment, R.D. deflected the Gouka away with the help of a barrier. His hand stung, but he grinned. "Heh, you're too much," he mocked, "As you're not doing much to stop me."

R.D. split the Phase Lance, arming himself with two energized swords. He spun them in his hands, watching Bruno carefully. After a moment, he spoke.

"... I see now," he said, then started laughing lightly.

"Wrong, fool," R.D. said, still smirking. "Completely, utterly wrong."

(OOC: Not real screams, Juno.)

Morph could do nothing but sit the attack out. After the 25th second had passed, and the attack stopped, he hung still in the air, soundless.

"I'll insult whoever I damn well feel like," R.D. said, his smirk still there. Then the frown disappeared.

"I'm not the one who's afraid, demon. You are."

===At Xastra's Castle===

"As I said before... he's surprisingly persistant," Ziatoch said quietly. He wondered why Morph was holding back.

"Am I?" R.D. said softly, not at all intimidated. "I think you are. I'm not the one who's hiding away behind a body of fire, afraid to be struck."

R.D. made a step forward, keeping his blades held low. "You're afraid," he continued, "Afraid of being beaten by a simple human teenager. If you weren't, you wouldn't be using the Gouka to avoid any and all attacks we make towards you."

R.D. laughed. "You, a mighty and powerful demon under the employ of one of the Seven, and you're terrified of a bunch of kids. You're pathetic."

R.D. stopped about 6 feet away from Bruno, looking up at the foul monster. "You're scared," he said softly, almost threateningly, "Because you know that I am going to destroy you."

"Then I guess you really are a coward," R.D. sneered, "Did you ever think that I have a power within me that your masters are afraid of?"

R.D. spat on the ground at Bruno's feet. "Why else would they come after us specifically," he continued, "only to lose four of the battles they engaged us in? Think, you fool!

"You're afraid," R.D. repeated again, "And if you aren't like you say you aren't, then come at me without that cowardly shield of yours. After all, I'm just the weak human. The human you're afraid of."

Blazen nodded to Kalmar with a smile. He then looked over to the mist, intenting to answer both of thier questions. "I have many names..." He began, half lying. He took a step away from Kalmar. "Ankoku, the Balance of darkness....or former...I'm not sure if someone was able to take that position in my absence. Next...The King of Hell...And finally, the One who killed Kuro and all he's worth! I am Blazen God of Fire!" A large red flame came around Blazen, scortching the buildings around him. "Pleasure to meet you." He finished with a grin.

Morph fell to the ground. He hit the hard, cold stone with a loud thump. He lied limp for a moment. Then, soft muttering could be heard, slowly becoming more intense.
"I survived Kuro's coming, I survived Akumu, I survived all before, save treachery." Morph's head lifted a bit.
"I am not of good nor evil, I am one with a mind filled with imagination and philosophy, I am a variable, and the world is a complex calculation." Morph lifted himself up to one knee and sat.
"I am no nothing, yet a mere bug compared to the massive existance of existance, I am no everybody, I am myself, just what I am." He lifted his knee off the ground and tried to stand.
"I am no nobody, I am a man, I am a boy, I am a human." He lifted his head slowly.
"I am no anybody, I am Morph, I will survive." His head was now up, and he looked into those eyes. Not Xastra's, Maya's. Not Xastra's body, Maya's. Not Xastra's childish looks, Maya's. This was Maya whom stood before him. Xastra was beyond. To defeat Xastra, he had to pass Maya first.
"I am Morph, I will survive." He repeated firmly, confident.

"Heatshield!"

Around the main group, thin red barriers appeared to protect them from the heat.

"You know, R.D.'s got a point," Matt said, floating into the scene, the Dragon Drive still active. "But, you know, despite such a convincing point, he's not the one you should be scared of."

He raised his curled fingers, and around them, streams of a familiar water flowed around them. "You should be scared of ME."

(OOC: Lawls... there are no buildings in the wilderness, Juno. O.o)

R.D. leapt back away from Bruno and spun the Phase Blades in his hands as he dropped into a ready stance. He wound up next to Matt.

He made a sideways glance at at Matt. "I'd hurry up and restore everyone's bodies," he said, "As I think the transformation has weakened the others. I'm normal and you have the Core, but the girls and Hugo are a different matter."

"I'm not sure if it's that easy," Matt said, keeping his eyes on Bruno. "You can try, though."

"Yeah, I could," R.D. replied, keeping his eyes on Bruno as well, "But this guy is after me specifically now. When I get the chance, I'll try."

R.D. slung his right-hand blade over his shoulder, and slung his left-hand blade over to his right side.

"But I think in the meantime it'd be best if you try it for now. I'll distract Long, Tall, and Ugly Mk II here for you."

"Why you callin' him a Mark Two? Eh, whatever." Matt flew toward the others. "I'll fix us quick!"

(OOC: WOW! Talking about relevation! And anti-climaxes! =O Well, I'm-a gonna waitz for Xastra's and/or Ziatoch's reply to this first.)
