"Alli! Alli!" R.D. shouted to the girl over her screaming. She looked up at him. "I need your help We've got to put an end to this!"

Alasea nodded, and R.D. put his gloved hand over her own, and together they pointed it at Greedy and his black hole, concentrating on their own powers.

R.D. looked over at Matt and Helena, hoping they'll get the idea and attack along with him. He turned back to Greedy as he made his statement. In response, Alasea and R.D. combined their power and lashed out with a plasma shot energized by Alasea's energy. The resulting plasma burst was crimson and electrified as it streaked towards the Kaiser.

This combo burst, powerful as it was, was no match for the Kaiser's black hole, and after a minute of struggle, it too was devoured.

"HA!" Greedy tilted his head back. "What was THAT supposed to be?"

"That's called a distraction."

As Helena, once more the great dragon, dug into the ground with her claws to remain steady, Matt held out his right arm, grabbing it with the other. "Let's GO!" he shouted.

Helena briefly took to the air. Before the black hole could disrupt her flight, Matt ran foward, holding out his arm, and she landed on it, gripping tightly to his sleeve. At once she was surrounded by bright energy, and as her bright form receded into Matt's arm, the arm itself began to change shape.

"Variable Arm-Gate Guardian!"

He swung the arm out as the glow seemed to shatter, revealing its peculiar shape-dark blue armor overall, with golden, inset lines across its surface. Surrounding it were various rings, hovering of their own accord, ending with a particularly large ring near Matt's shoulder.

Clenching the Arm's fingers, he grinned. "You ready, guys?"

"Ready when you are, Matt!" R.D. shouted while he and Alasea prepared for the battle.

Matt pointed at Greedy. "Let's ROCK!"

He threw out Gate Guardian's palm, and an unseen struggle began-with the arm's power, Greedy's black hole began to shrink somewhat.

"What?!" Greedy pushed foward with his hand in an attempt to keep the black hole at its full size.

"Get that bastard!" Matt shouted.

"Yes, SIR!" Slamming his pickaxe to the floor, the familiar red power overtook Hugo's body, transforming him into Blazing Hugo. With the renewed fire at his command, he entered a wide stance, his pickaxe pointed at Greedy and charging with power. "Go get him, kid!"

"Right!" Ristar's arm stretched out, grabbing a chunk of floor dislodged by R.D.'s earlier Cho Shinkuujin and throwing it at Greedy with a powerful motion.

R.D. and Alasea nodded to each other. "Let's go!"

Alasea wrapped her arm tightly around R.D.'s waist, and she spun one of her weapons in her hands and fired of tines of lightning at the Kaiser, aiming them around his black hole.

"A black hole can absorb light, so..." R.D. mused as he held up a hand, dark energy gathering around it like black mist, "Darkness can escape it's grasp!"

With that, he fired the Entangler shot at Greedy, followed by a number of Dark Beam shots.

As the attacks flew in, it was all Greedy could do to maintain the black hole and gesture with his other hand. The portals he created this time almost strained to appear, but they swallowed the projectiles just the same.

As new portals opened near the members of the group, Matt forced a withdraw from Gate Guardian and gestured at them. "Redirection!"

The portals suddenly appeared next to Greedy, and all the attacks shot at him. As they struck and he cried out in pain, he was tossed to the side, the black hole abruptly ceasing to exist.

"Blazing Shotgun!" The firebolt smashed into the Kaiser, and he hit the wall with a resounding crash.

"Now's our chance!" R.D. yelled as he let go of Alasea and ripped his Phase Lance from the ground. Alasea spun her swords in her hands as she lashed out with her flame rays.

R.D. spun his weapon to his side, then jumped forward, slashing downward and creating a large wave of energy that shot forward along the floor at Greedy, then shot forward after the wave while spinning his blade overhead to attack at close range.

With a flare of his cape, Greedy managed to roll away from R.D.'s ground wave attack...somewhat. The wave sliced through his right arm as it crashed into the wall.

Greedy's eyes widened as blood spewed from the sudden wound. Yet, he didn't sceech in pain-through the anger of the moment he lashed his other hand at R.D. and fired a powerful bolt of lightning.

The bolt struck R.D. in the chest, knocking him away. He cried out as the bolt electricuted him, pushing him further back. Suddenly it stopped as Alasea's Reverser Strike turned the bolt into particles of dirt that scattered across the floor. Alasea turned and slashed the air, launching a blade of wind at Greedy as R.D. tried to recover.

"Enough of this!" The Kaiser flung a ball of lightning at the blade of wind, cancelling each other out.

"This has gone on long enough," Greedy said, floating upward, his black blood dripping from where his arm used to be. He raised his remaining hand in the air, his eyes widened with crazed fury. "I will not lose to you!"

Above him, the greatest black hole yet was summoned. Unrestrained, its size and power quickly grew, its vaccum becoming more intense with each passing second.

As Matt slid foward he shot Gate Guardian out, strained to control the empty portal. "...damn!" he shouted. "It's not working! Greedy, you idiot! That thing'll swallow up the whole fortress at this rate!"

"Fortresses mean nothing to me!" the Kaiser shouted back over the high force winds. "I can always rebuild and recover, but if you defeat me here, that can never come to pass!"

R.D. slammed his Phase Lance into the ground again, going as deep as he can, while grabbing Alasea around the waist and holding her close to him.

"Dammit!" he yelled, "How the hell do we stop that thing!?"

Matt's Variable Arm dug into the ground, and he found himself glancing in Ristar's direction. The star-child kept himself steady by grabbing on to Hugo's grounded pickaxe.

My awesome sense is tingling. "Ristar! Gimme your hands!"

Ristar looked up at Matt, the wind pulling on the points of his star-like face. "What?" he shouted back.

"Just do it!"

With great effort, Ristar launched his extendable arms at Matt. Before the sheer force of the black hole could draw the star-child's arms toward it, Matt grabbed on to Ristar's hands. "Here we GO!"

With a titanic effort, and a similar yell, Matt turned in a circle, whipping Ristar about him. With such strength he did this-enough to carve his own path despite the powerful suction.

Greedy's eyes widened. "What?!"

Matt continued to shout a drawn out battle cry, whipping Ristar around and around, until the star-child was a whirling golden blur. "Dual Tech..."

Matt released Ristar at Greedy during his final, powerful rotation. "Meteor HAMMER!"

Like a brilliant comet, Ristar shrieked through the air, aimed right at the Kaiser. Fixated with maintaining his ultimate black hole, Greedy could only watch as the full force of the galaxy's bravest young hero smashed through his body. Like a golden blast it tore through him, cleaving a hole straight through his abdomen, instantly cauterizing upon searing impact.

Kaiser Greedy had never looked so shocked, so amazed that this was the instrument of his defeat, this foolish star-child who he had brushed aside as nothing more of an irritance. Even with Matt's assistance, throughout the course of the battle, Ristar had more than proved his worth.

Damn you...Star Child!

He fell to earth, and the black hole continued to rage.

R.D. silently congratulated Ristar on his victory, but he was more concerned about the black hole, still active. "We've got to get out of here!" he shouted to his companions.

Blazen kicked and punched more demons away. They were coming quicker and more agressivly now, he was barely able to keep up. Blazen swung his leg again to knock another into a group of demons. He began to sweat, showing slight fatiquie.

Blazen jumped above two as they came at him, letting them smash into eachother. Blazen slammed his feet down onto thier heads, crushing thier skulls. Blazen then shot himself forward clothlining one demon and crashing it into a wall.

Blazen then planted his foot on the wall and backflipped off it as a demon ran into it, head first. Blazen landed behind the demon and he threw a flame at its back, putting a hole in it then burning it to ash. Blazen turned to throw a dozen more fire balls, six from each hand. He killed a dozen more.

Blazen then formed a drill like flame infront of him. It grew to a massive size, larger than him. He then charged through the crowd of demons, tearing them apart as he ran. As he ran, Blazen looked over to Kalmar as he fought his ex-wife, who was now a large demon. His eyes narrowed, tempted to jump in. He wouldn't until needed however.

Blazen then looked forward to see he was about to hit a wall. He planted his foot firmly on the wall and began to run up it. He then made a sharp turn on the wall and began downward, his drill like flame still around him. He continued down then on the ground, destroying even more demons.

The gigantic creature roared and greenish-black fire shot from her mouth at Kalmar. He leapt to the side quickly, turning to see a large number of demons behind him vaporized by the flame.

He summoned his scythe, throwing it towards the demon, but she moved to avoid it. The scythe continued to twirl around her, glowing with a blackish-red flame that was reflected on the ground also. Suddenly, a large geyser of corrupted flame shot up, completely surrounding the demon and his scythe.

The demon screamed as it was burned by the attack, the scythe also slicing the creature when it attempted to venture out of the tornado of flame.

Kalmar turned to Blazen while the huge demon was distracted, "How are you holding up?" His friend looked slightly fatigued, but the number of demons left showed his incredible progress at destroying the horde.

He decided to help, holding his hands in front of him to shoot two large blackish-purple energy beams. The demons closing in behind Blazen after his second wall maneuver turned to ash.

The massive demon roared again, and stepped through the flames as the attack ended, burns and cuts running the length of it's body. Kalmar caught his scythe and instantly summoned his greatsword, leaping upward with a roar in an attempt to attack the demon's head.

"Let's GO!" Matt nearly screamed at everyone in the room, over the din of the powerful vaccum. He threw out Gate Guardian, and, with momentous effort, managed to downplay the power of the suction enough to allow the others to flee. "Get outta here, I'll hold this thing off!"

"What about you?" Hugo shouted.

"I'm fine! Go on!" Matt looked back at R.D.. "Get Ristar!" The star-child, having hit the wall earlier due to Meteor Hammer, lay unconcious near Greedy's throne, the Kaiser's body only a distance from him.

R.D. nodded and pushed Alasea towards the door. She quickly ran out of the room with Hugo, and R.D. wrenched his weapon out of the floor and made his way over to Ristar. He scooped the star-child and headed for the door.

"Hurry up, Matt," he said as he passed, "Let's just get out of here and let that thing take care of the fortress!"

"That ain't a good idea!" Matt said, his fingers curling. "This thing's energy levels are through the fucking roof! If I don't close it, it might get big enough to swallow the whole galaxy! Well, I dunno if that'll really happen or not but it could happen, and right now this thing'll do that if I don't stop it!" He gestured with his head, dismissing R.D.. "Get outta here, I'll follow you! Trust me!"

R.D. grunted. "Don't you dare get killed," he said as he ran out of the room and join the others.

"Go!" he shouted at them as he took off running down the hall.

"Let's just say I'm heatin things up!" Blazen yelled in responce as he jumped up and spun. The drill of fire around him spun quicker as he plowed through more demons, killing more. As Blazen passed, one was lucky enough to avoid him and then quickly grab his leg. Blazen fell on his face as other demons began to pile up on him.

Blazen was nearly crushed by the wieght of the massive amount of demons. He quickly grew a layer of black fire around himself, burning some demons' limbs and forceing them back. His layer then expanded and shot out in the form of a dome. It rammed into all the demons around him, burning them at the same time. They would be slammed into the nearest wall or demon, adding to the pile. The dome itself would stop after several more meters.

Once the dome died off Blazen stood again seeing all the wounded demons around them. Blazen caught notice to some demons who climbed the walls of the wounded. Blazen then looked up, the sun was setting, dust was afoot. Blazen returned his attention to the crowd of demons that ventured thier way boldly to him.

Blazen sent a large amount of heat and fire to his feet. He then rocketed upward into the sky as the demons watched in anger of his seemingly escape. Blazen landed on a rooftop and held out his right hand, thumb folded inward. Blazen then created a fairly large black fireball in his hand. His eyes narrowed as it flew down, exploding once it hit the ground.

Some of the demons were able to avoid the blast by jumping into the air themselves. Blazen smirked to thier attempt to avoid death. Blazen then brought heat to his feet again and rocketed himself to the demons, running his arm through one's chest. Blazen then opened his bloody hand sending out a spew of fire to destroy the ones behind it. Blazen withdrew his arm. He then turned his hand to the side and chopped his hand through the one he impaled with his arm's neck. The demon's head rolled off followed by its body. Blazen wiped off the blood on his face with his clean arm as the other gave off steam, evaporating the blood. Blazen then landed to continue the fight.

Ristar's eyes batted, and slowly, he returned to conciousness, a busy place where he was in someone's arms and being carried down the halls of an extravagant place. "Unh..."

His eyes widened as it all came back to him. "Greedy!"

"Calm down, kid!" Hugo said, running next to R.D.. "You took care of him!"

"Where's Matt?" Ristar demanded.

"He's back there tryin' to stop the black hole Greedy made!"

"What?" Ristar immediately began to squirm. "We gotta go back for him!"

"Hold on!" the Mettaur interrupted. "Trust me, Matt knows what he's doin'!"

"Matt will be fine," R.D. said as they ran, "Worry about us if we can't find a way to get off of this damn castle."

As the group went through the castle, roaming patrols of Orbots, despite the shakes coursing through the fortress, attempted to attack them. A few choice shots from Hugo's pickaxe easily dispatched them. Finally, they arrived at the hangar, where troops scrambled for ships to escape the increasingly dangerous castle.

R.D. was grateful that none of the troops were bothering with them. The group made their way to a small, speedy transport and boarded it. R.D. looked over the controls as he sat down.

"C'mon, Matt, hurry it the hell up," he growled as he accustomed himself to the controls.

Moments passed, and as the shaking grew worse and worse, debris falling from the roof of the hangar, Matt was nowhere to be seen.

After a while, Hugo simply said:

"Let's go."

"But what about Matt?" Ristar protested.

"He'll get out of there when he's done!" Hugo snapped. "But we need to go, now!"

"Fine," R.D. said as he began activating the ship. Once it was completely up and running, he flew the ship out of the hanger.

Now things were getting serious. Ships blazed past the cruiser the group had commandeered, as the fortress itself begam to come apart at the seams. Chunks of rock and machinery and those unlucky to be caught inside drifted away-the center of the fortress seemed to be collapsing in on itself.

R.D. turned the transport ship and began circling the fortress amidst its destruction. The amnesiac teen looked out of the viewport for any sign of Matt.

"And now we wait," he muttered as he watched.

Just then, a powerful vaccum opened from behind the fortress-as the black hole escaped its physical bounds, its power easily took weaker ships into its fold. The group's cruiser was not unaffected by the effect-even now, it slowly drifted toward the hole.

Hugo tripped as the ship rumbled, powerful gravitational forces beginning to act on it. "Damn it, that thing's still going!"

R.D. growled as he pulled the ship away. "Dammit," he swore as they left.
