R.D. growled as Omega's sword returned to its normal state even as the bats slammed into the giant mech, jolting it with each tackle.

Omega activated its dash thrusters and shot backwards, and raised the ΩX-Buster at the bats, energy gathering into its barrel. R.D. yelled as Omega fired a beam of azure energy at the bats, hoping to take down as many of them as possible before Cackletta reformed.

Kalmar was flung at Blane, but luckily his comrade moved. He bounced along the ground till he stopped in a crouch, energy gathering around him.

One shot was the only thought that ran through his mind after hearing what Blane had said. He shot forward, a mindless being of death. Monsters fell to all sides from his assualt, either blasted to bits or sliced to the point of unrecognizeable by his demonic blades.

He finally broke through the ranks of demons, a momentary clearing forming around him.

"Enough, die demon!" He roared at the tentacle beast, but was suprised when tentacles shot up from the ground, cutting him in a few places before he activated his barrier, severing the tentacles.

Anger flew through Kalmar as he flew into the air, blasting the flying demons and avoiding the ground creatures blasts.

He began focusing energy into his palms, runners of corrupted fire surrounding the orb as he aimed it at the creature.

"One shot!" he yelled to his comrades as the orb suddenly turned a bright white as it flew at the creature, obliterating any demons caught in its path.

Once the fire from Blazen died he was on the ground panting, on one knee. The laughing gone and the anger and motivation at a minimal. He took a deep breath before pushing himself back down to White Form. He turned to the tentacle demon.

Blazen then spread his hands, two large orbs formed, shining in the light. He combined the two and allowed it to shine further. "One shot!" Blazen responded as his now single orb charged quickly. White hot streaks of fire surrounded Blazen in jolts and then concentrated around his attack. The orb would then rip open, Blazen put forth enough heat and energy to make the orb fire a massive enough beam to engulf and turn the monster to vapors.

OOC: Then Kite's appearance is moot then, we never really have clarified when Babylon was in the timeline...

"Feel the wrath of heaven cretin!" Blane yelled channeling holy energy to his hands as he launched it at the monster in a large blast.

The swarm scattered as it was struck by Omega's blast, swirling toward the right as beams of light continued to hammer down. They rose to the air as one body-spreading their wings, crimson darts burst forth, raining toward Omega like a rain of needles.

The problem with giant robots, R.D. mused as he maneuvered Omega out of the way, the crimson bolts pinging off of its armor, is that it's very hard to get them out of the way. Omega's eyes flashed it raised its buster, charging cobalt-blue energy into its barrel before firing a rapid-fire stream of small energy bolts like a scatter-shot.

===At Italy===

"Am I?" Diablo said softly from right behind Dranzer the moment he spoke, having teleported, "You can't even keep your eyes on me."

An orb of red lightning formed in Diablo's lowered hand, and he turned it towards Kite's back before unleashing a massive torrent of red lightning, like a firehose spray. As it did, long bone-like spikes burst from the rooftop around Kite, the spikes curving up to trap him.

On the ground, the demon roared as its tentacles were destroyed. Distracted, the energy blasts from the Angel and the Demon Hunter slammed into it and send it into the street, fracturing the already crumbling asphault. When the demon came down, its lesser minions swarmed in around it like a shield, while another large group shot forward at the three heroes

"Heh, you actually think you have me, guess again..." Kite said cutting straight through the trap while dodging the lightning.

Blazen began to hop backwards, away from the army as he began to throw a volley of flames, each exploding on impact. The demons would bellow and cry in pain with each. Then once Blazen was far enough he would swipe his hand horizontally making a white line of fire. He would grab it and then it would morph into a sythe.

Blazen ran into the mob of enemies, trying out his new weapon. He would spin it in all directions as well as parry opponents with the butt of it. He would then throw it to cut a many of demons in half. Once the sythe returned to him and he caught it, it would go 'poof'.

The swarm flew about the scatter shots, aptly dodging them, until they reformed back into Cackletta. "Have some of THIS!" the giant witch screeched, making a bold gesture. From the resulting arc, spheres of purple electricity shot at Omega in a large wave.

"Aurgh!" R.D. groaned as the energy spheres slammed into Omega, rocking him and the giant mech. A number of the electric spheres reacted to each other and created an energy field, trapping Omega like a net in the water.

Bolts of electricity arced in the cockpit of Omega, giving R.D. painful shocks as he growled. Omega's left arm struggled to aim at Cackletta, the servos protesting with the movement and causing it to vibrate badly.

"Damn," R.D. muttered, then grinned. "Looks like we win, though."

"What?" Cackletta asked.

"VITAS!"

At once, they all became engulfed in a long corridor of emerald energy, one that overtook all detail of the normal world. "What is this?!" Cackletta screeched as she turned around, facing GaoGaiGar, whose claws were now wrapped together in a display of power. From his fists, a wave of green energy burst forth, smashing into Cackletta. "What the-I can't move!" the witch shouted, trying her best to break free.

"All right, Cackletta, listen up!" Matt shouted. "You attacked the people of this kingdom, you attacked my friends, and more importantly, you're breaking thousands of unspoken fashion laws! Now it's PAYBACK TIME!"

"No!" Cackletta shouted, trying to free herself with ever more desperation. "You can't win! I have the Beanstar!"

GaoGaiGar's thrusters kicked into highest gear, and the mech launched along the ocean floor at Cackletta, kicking up powerful waves behind it as it lead the way with its combined fist. "Here we go! Hell and Heaven!"

The double-handed punch smashed directly into Cackletta, and as the two combatants screamed-she in incredible pain, he fully immersed in the hotblooded moment-a tremendous light shone forth, blasting throughout their perceived world with a brilliant shine.

"IT'S OVER!" came Matt's final battle cry, and it was indeed over. As the light cleared, the world's detail returned. All traces of Cackletta had been dispelled in the divine strike-only GaoGaiGar stood now, lowering its fists as the mighty sun burned behind him, overshadowing the mech in an aura of glory.

The electrical net that pinned Omega dispersed, and slowly the three-colored mech got to its feet, its massive sword deactivating.

"Well, that was interesting," R.D. muttered. Now that the battle was over, he looked through the computer screens at his mech. He let his mind flow over the giant robot, and grinned. I could summon this thing again on my own if I grow stronger, he mused.

R.D. chuckled. "Too bad we didn't have these when we fought Bruno."

Kalmar took a few steps back and summoned his scythe, seeing Blazen do likewise. "A true warrior," he commented as he began slashing through the horde of demons.

He threw his scythe and quickly began blasting the rushing creatures with orbs of corrupted energy, before deftly catching the scythe to continue his dance of death.

Meanwhile, back over in the Beanbean Kingdom, the entire populace had gathered outside to watch the mechs engage the giant Cackletta in battle. With Matt's final attack, all present covered their eyes as the brilliant light shone throughout the land.

"Hot DAMN!" Hugo shouted. "They did it!"

"So, um," R.D. started, "Now what do we do with these things?"

Back at the kingdom, Alasea found herself cheering with the rest of the people.

===At Italy===

Diablo teleported as Kite freed himself, grasping one of the man's blades and ripping it from his hand. The cloaked entity's hand shone with a cold blue light, and the sword froze and shattered.

"Binding Darkness," Diablo muttered as he gestured to Kite, causing black tendrils to leap from shadows all over the building, each one shooting forward to wrap around Kite's limbs. Diablo shot forward, slashing viciously at Kite's body.

On the ground, the demon roared suddenly as the monsters continued to swarm. It slammed its arms into the ground, then ripped them out. Hundreds of tentacles had burst from its arms, lifting up massive chunks of ground. The tentacles threw each one at the three warriors, then the demon leaped high into the air, thrusting a number of the tentacles at Blane, each one electrified to roast the angel.

Its other hand was pointed at Kalmar and Blazen, and the other tentacles whipped into the strange forms from eariler, each firing beams of evil energy at them, causing dozens of the blasts to strike down at the two of them.

At the same time, the mechs became engulfed in their respective pillars of light, and they swarmed toward Beanbean Kingdom. As they struck the grass before the people, the beams faded, revealing R.D. and Matt, safe and sound.

"Victory is mine!" Matt laughed, flashing his trademark thumbs-up, and the villagers swarmed around the heroes, cheering and offering praise for saving their land from certain doom.

R.D. chuckled as Alasea ran up to them, laughing and hugging them both. "You wouldn't have been able to do it without me saving your rear, you know," he said.

The noise of the celebration died down as Princess Peach, flanked by Mario and Luigi, approached R.D. and Matt. "You two have done this kingdom a great service," she said. "On the behalf of both the Beanbean and Mushroom Kingdoms, I thank you." She made a graceful curtesy to show her respect.

"Hey, well, just doin' my job, you know?" Matt replied, bashfully rubbing the back of his head. "I gotta say, though, you really helped us out, Mario and Luigi. It was a pleasure to watch you work." He held out a hand, and Mario enthusiastically shook it, followed by Luigi in major approval.

"You crazy bastard!" Hugo laughed. "You should do that next time we fight that Bruno bastard!"

Matt glanced at R.D.. "That's the plan." Then, he suddenly realized something, and glanced around. "Hey, where's Helena?"

"She's inside one of them houses," Hugo said, gesturing backwards with his pickaxe. "Her dragon mode wore off and...well, you know. Censorship."

R.D. also shook the hands of the two plumber brothers, and then nodded to Matt. "You'd better go tend to her," he said.

And so...

"Well, looks like we're off," Matt said.

The assembled group now stood before the large, swirling blue portal, facing their newfound friends of the Beanbean Kingdom. "Hey, it's been a wild ride, you know?" Matt continued. "But now we gotta boogie."

R.D. shouldered his pack. "We'll try to stay out of trouble as long as the rest of you do," he said, "Even though I'm sure you'll do a better job than us."

"Good luck on your journey," Princess Peach said.

"No problem." Matt pointed at the crowd. "Hey, y'all keep fightin' the good fight, okay? Don't tread on meee~" he suddenly sang.

"Will you quit that?" Hugo snapped, smacking his pickaxe against Matt's leg.

"OW!"

"That didn't hurt."

"Whatever." Matt made one last curt salute with his index and middle fingers together. "See ya around."

"Goodbye!" Princess Peach said, and as she, Mario, and Luigi waved, so did the whole of the villagers.

"Keep at it!" Prince Peasley offered, flashing his hair.

"Ho ho ho ho!" Queen Bean laughed. "Have a safe trip!"

"And remember!" Matt leapt dramatically backwards into the portal, keeping his backpack steady with one hand and waving with the other as he was sucked in. "Control the pet population! Spay and neuter your pets!"

R.D. rolled his eyes as Alasea giggled. "A moron to the bitter end, it seems," he chuckled. He strode into the portal, waving behind him. "See'ya."

The group exited the portal with a thunderclap, all of them being thrown violently out before the portal closed.

R.D. landed on his feet, but fell to his knees. He shook his head. "Okay, that was a bit different."

He got to his feet and looked around, and froze at the sight.

"Oh my... god..." Alasea whispered.

They were in the midst of the ruins of a grand, alien city. The ground wasn't ground, but looked like water crystallized into a hard substance. It looked as if the ruined city had been flooded before the water froze. A desolate wind blew, but the rest of the world seemed to be silent under a twilit sky.

"I did it!" Matt laughed, raising his hands to the air. "I didn't land on my face for once!" He took a step foward. "I am the GREATEST-"

He promptly tripped on one of the frozen waves, and landed on his face, thankfully hitting the flatest part of the crystal ground. "...ow."

"What the hell happened here?" Hugo demanded, eyeing the landscape.

Helena held her arms, as if suddenly cold. "I don't know...but it doesn't feel right here..."

"Yeah," Alasea murmured, "I'm with you on that one, Helena."

R.D. helped Matt to his feet. "Well, nothing to do but go forward," he said, "Keep a sharp eye out and keep your weapons ready."

Alasea nodded, drawing her short swords. R.D. drew and activated a Phase Blade and started forward.

"Did someone say giant shotgun?" Matt said, pulling out the thing from behind his back-it was seriously a huge shotgun, about twice the size of a normal one.

Hugo eyed the shotgun with immense jealousy. "No fair! I want one!"

The group continued in silence for several long moments. After a while, the silence finally got to R.D.. It was way too quiet, it creeped him out.

"Have you... ever seen a world like this, Matt?" he asked.

"No." Now Matt felt serious, holding his weapon tighter. "But Helena's right, this place don't feel right. Feels like the life of it got sucked out or somethin'."

"Yeah," R.D. said, "I'd hate to find out what did this."

Alasea was looking around, walking close to Helena. The buildings interested her, she'd never seen anything quite like them.

"This... couldn't be the Eternal Sanctuary you spoke of, could it?" she asked Matt.

"Hmmm." Matt smacked his chest with a fist, trying to illicit a response from the Omega Core. "...nah. It ain't doin' nothin'."

"Maybe the next portal's in that direction, though," Helena suggested.

Hugo humphed. "I hope so. I don't like bein' here."
