The ongoing story of the people aboard the S.S. Calmwaters

"Bravo for me!" Matt flashed a thumbs up. "But yeah, let's roll." He hefted his weapon, glancing around.
The group found a multitude of computer electronics in the technicians' area.
"Computers were never really my thing," Alasea said, "So I certainly hope one of you boys know."
R.D. rolled his eyes. "There isn't even power in this room. We'll have to find a generator; it wouldn't be wise to risk using the Core in here. No offense, Matt, I think the Core would probably destroy everything in here."
"Oh, come on," Matt said, with a laugh. "I think I can do something as simple as provide power to machinery that probably hasn't been used for decades."
"I'm not even going to touch that," Hugo muttered.
Helena looked behind her, clenching her claws. "Well, what can we do next, then?"
"We find a power generator," R.D. said simply. "Hugo, can you scan for anything even remotely resembling one?"
Hugo's antenna extended from his helmet, blinking slowly as it scanned the area. "Let's see what we got."
R.D. and Alasea in the meantime looked around the technicians' area. The computers looked remarkably more advanced than that on Earth, but the controls were more or less the same. Hopefully they'd be able to operate them.
"Got it." Hugo pointed in a certain direction with his pickaxe. "That way."
Blazen looked up to the stars. He thought about what Kite said. Some of them may be up there...up there...up there...
Up there...there where his old family was. Where Gaia, Eva, Sakura, Kyo, Frost, and God were. He nodded. "I think they'd be in good care up there..." He responded, still looking up.
Blazen then looked back to Kite. "C'mon...I think its time you've gotten some sleep though. May as well as we've gone through a couple of contries within only a few hours." Blazen suggested still sitting on the ruble.

"Right," R.D. nodded, following Hugo's direction. He soon found the generator--a rather small but sturdy looking machine with two metal orb attached at its side.
"Huh," was all R.D. said.
Matt slid his hands in his pockets. "...how do you turn it on?"
"Hell if I know," R.D. said, "Think you can do a Core Search?"
Alasea sighed, walked right up, forcing her way between the two, and struck the machine soundly. It made a loud whine and roared to light, causing lights to turn on, and a powerful hum to sound. They could feel the immense power radiating from the generator, proving its otherworldly quality.
Alasea spun back around, looked at both R.D. and Matt, then walked off, muttering, "Men."
"Oh, I'm sorry if I'd rather not wreck a delicate piece of equipment by kicking the crap out of it," Matt remarked to Alasea, spreading his hand over his chest in defensive irritation.
"Well, at least it's working now," Helena said. Her brow scrunched in thought momentarily. "I wonder if any trains around here still work."
"That's why I wanted to have the power back on," R.D. said, heading to the computers. He started switching them on, and the computer room of the technicians' area hummed to life.
"Grab a computer and let's see if we find something that the Ing haven't turned FUBAR."
"whatever..." Kite said laying back obviously exhausted.
Hey beautiful people, you're better off trying to e-mail me than message me on here.
Kalmar lay on the ground, looking at the stars on the uncovered side of his lean-to. He had a strange stirring in him, a compulsion to do something. He thought it might be the Za-Fuzen spirit inside of him, but quickly dismissed it. The feeling didn't seem to fit with his evil concience, it was more of an.. unfamiliar feeling.
My whole life i've dedicated to killing and evil deeds, he thought solemly, maybe it's time to change. For some reason his thoughts drifted to the young man, his supposed redemption and their battle. The way he had simply let him go, demanding of his comrades to not pursue him even though he had tried to kill the man.
It doesn't make sense, thoughts still buzzing through his head, he continued to stare at the small points of light in the blackened sky, I have to find him again. I need to know why he spared me.
His thoughts blackened as sleep slowly took him, tomorrow seemed so far away, drifting in the blackness that surrounded his mind.

Blazen would have chuckled if he were in a happier mood however that wasn't the case. He insted stared at the two as they began to fall asleep. As soon as he was asured both were done he let his eyes wander off. He thought about joining them in la la land. To be lost in a reality that doesn't exist. Certain bliss.
Blazen hung his head, closing his eyes before laying down ont the ruble. He placed his hands behind his head and kept his ears keen. He would not sleep, but insted rest. He was sure that if anything with ill will would come out if he seemed asleep, still he was alert.
Blazen soon lost track of time as his mind decided to escape his waking state. He thought about his past, his present and possible future. He thought about the family he lost in hell. The family that forgotten him in heaven. The people he met and lost. The things that creeped in the distance and darkness. All of it raced through him as time pasted. From darkness to dawn.

"Good thing I learned how to hack by watching old Star Trek movies," Matt quipped. He took to a computer and began investigating its contents-with the help of the Core, he knew how to use the thing right.
"You see any ports I can plug into?" Hugo asked.
"...nah. Just keep watch."
"Thank god this world has english," R.D. muttered, typing away furiously at the keyboard. He had not a clue as to what he was doing, but he chalked it up to more repressed memories.
Damn amnesia, he thought sourly.
"Found something!" Alasea said happily. R.D. blinked. She beat us to it again? he thought in amazement.
R.D. looked over the teen girl's shoulder, finding a subway that seemed to be in perfect condition. "Cool, now we just need a map to get to it."
"I found a map!" Helena chimed. "It's pretty big, too."
"Good stuff," Matt said. "Now, for my next trick, I will use photographic memory to capture this map in my mind." Twiddling his fingers, he glanced at the screen for one second before turning away. "Okay, let's go."
"Well, if you've memorized the map," R.D. said, "Lead the way."
"...hold on." Matt quickly took another glance at the map, this one lasting a few seconds before turning away again. "Okay, I'm good."
Hugo sighed. "Wonderful."
"In case Matt forgets, I remembered it," Helena said.
Matt blinked. "Seriously?"
"Yeah."
"Behold, convienence!" Matt proclaimed, raising his arms.
"Just GO!" Hugo snapped, kicking Matt in the leg.
"OW! I'm going, damn!" He scuttled foward into a brisk movement.
It didn't take them long to find the subway train, but they were forced to blast several Inglets and Warrior Ing along the way.
R.D. climbed aboard first, readying a plasma blast for anything that might try to attack them. He found the brightly lit vehicle devoid of Ing.
"It's safe," he called out to his companions.
Brandon looked over before Bryant did. Brandon nudged him and they stood slowly. Bryant then turned and stepped forward.
"Really? It took him that long to finally remember our existance?" Bryant joked as they were in the cell for months. He folded his arms and stepped to the doorway and leaned on it. "Whats he want anyway?" Bryant continued his string of questions, both retorical and real.

The others carefully boarded the train-Matt glanced around at the messy state of affairs. It looked like crap but hey, it was working. "Wow, I actually feel like a bum who lives on a train," he quipped.
"So, let's see if we can get this thing running," R.D. said, walking up to the controls. He looked at them for a long moment. "Uh, Matt? Want to see if you can make any sense of this?"
Matt walked over to the control panel. Folding his arms and forming an O with his lips, he studied the control panel for a good while.
"Well?" Hugo asked.
Matt extended his right arm and hit the giant red button suddenly before him-on the button was the word "easy" in large white letters. The control panel was instantly changed-instead of the complicated mess it previously was, it was transformed into three labeled levers-"Pull this to go fast", "Pull this to stop", and "Pull this to do other stuff", respectively.
"...I guess that's one way of doing it," Helena remarked.
"Yeah, I'd say so," R.D. said, activating the train. It shuffled forward slowly, then started to gain speed.
"Uh, did anyone check the tracks to see if they're clear?" Alasea asked.
"Yeah, I did," replied R.D., "It's clear. But onto other problems. Did that map show an exit anywhere?"
"Yes," Helena piped up before Matt could reply. "It'll take a while to get there, but the train should take us near it."
