"Uh..yeah. They bought me with money from the orphanage, technically, so they bought me a new life, ergo, a new game. Get it?" Poncho asked, hoping he could keep this up.

"Come on, man...FACE THE MUSIC!" Matt laughed at his deliberately lame pun as he rocked on, swinging the guitar so that the constant sound attacks would follow the World Eater. And if you can stand against this, he thought with a smirk, I've got one more jam session all ready for you...

The demon stumbled and lost its footing slightly at the initial volley, but it kept running. However, one particular volley slammed it off the wall and onto the ground on its side. The resulting impact crushed two of its legs. It screamed and righted itself, and its eyes flashed as it sent out the psychic emanations again in an attempt to prevent another blast wave of sound.

===At Antarctica===

The dragon looked down at Veronica with glowing teal eyes. It snorted and backed up slightly, lowering its head to the ground, turning its eyes back to the demons blocked by the flame. With its head lowered, it seemed as if it was making a silent command for the woman to climb aboard.

"So, what are you Ancients really?" Meta asked, looking at Kouken.

"Pshyeah." Meta replied. "I figured." She cast a look into the fire for a few moments, before standing up. "I'm sorry, but I'll be going to my tent now." She said, then started to walk away.

Veronica looked back to see the new dragon come in. Because the first saved her while the second attacked it, she assumed the fire one was here to do good. She quickly ran behind the dragon and clinged to its tail. She assumed the beast would want to return fire, thus she didn't climb on from its head. She then would begin climb up the tail to the fire beast's back.

Bryant and Brandon stared up at the molten creature, both just staring into its firey eyes. Both were unmoving and unphased by the creatures, size nor might. Be he strong, and possibly thier absolute end, neither cared. They would remain tall and proud until the end.

(And then they all went to sleep.

Bryant and Brandon merely watched silently as Hector began whatever. They would not waver nor move in disgust, just stare.

The dragon roared as Kujo attacked, blasting out with a powerful wave of flame from its mouth and blocking the attack. As the dragon felt the woman climb up its tail and back, it backed out of the cell, creating a wall of flame to block the ice beam, then spun around within the tunnel and scramble up it. Its tail flicked violently across the ceiling, causing a cave-in of ice behind it. It ran quickly up the melted tunnel it had created and burst into the air, where the sounds of furious, roaring dragons could be heard everywhere as the dragon tribe that Bahamut had brought battled with the Ice Dragons.

"Sonic Earth!" Matt pointed his guitar at the floor at an angle-the sound waves were so intense that they carved through rock, creating a wave of jutted earth that shot at the World Eater.

Just as R.D. felt the cold tendril's of the World Eater's mental assault touch him, the Sonic Earth crashed into the spider demon, flinging it away and cancelling the attack.

"Asshole," R.D. muttered in response to the demon's attack. He stepped back and thrust his hands foward, launching a powerful concussive blast wave at the World Eater. It struck the beast in its injured legs just as it landed, and succeeded in tearing one of the legs off completely. It screamed with pain.

"Think we can finish him off soon?!" R.D. called over the scream to Matt.

(OOC: *yawns* So... Sheena gonna die sometime?)

An hour before the sun would rise above the horizon, Meta arose from the slumber of the night, and rubbed her eyes. She yawned some, then proceeded to put on her clothes. Halfway through, she stopped for a moment and thought to herself. I hope these guys are strong and numerous enough to take on Electra. Personally, I'd love to deal the deathblow to each and every one of these seven abominations. Especially Carnax. Her eyes narrowed. And next, my father. She then finished clothing herself, stood up, put her broadsword upon her back and left her tent, casting a glance at the golden horizon of coming dawn as she walked over to the oasis for a drink.

Upon hearing her brother's voice, Meta quickly drew her broadsword and turned to his direction. "What would truly be beautiful, is your head's as well as father's on a stick." She replied with a snee.

Meta laughed. "Oh, brother, you don't know what you are talking about." She said. "You two only look to the upper layer of things. You don't have the right sight, like I do." She grinned. "And soon, father won't even have the power to stop me."

Meta smirked as she looked at her brother. "Oh, but Zetsu..." She said charmingly, laying a hand against her brother's cheek. "That is exactly the point." She said with a smile. "Acquiring power of my own."

Meta looked up at her brother. "If you knew me better, you'd know that I would not beg for mercy or forgiveness, and neither will our father." She said in hard voice. "I, for one, would prefer to have a father who isn't so weak that he needs to hide in someone else's body, especially if it concerns a little girl."

"Well," Meta replied, "if he truly is an abomination, that only reflects his personality all the better. And I wouldn't want to be such a being's daughter." She added.

Met watched ZetsumeiRyu leave, then, as she heard Reckoning's voice, she turned, lifting her blade again. When she saw who had spoken, she lowered it. "Oh, it's you." She said. "Well, whatever you are thinking, it probably isn't reality."

Meta shrugged, "And what if I am?" She said, in a tone that nearly sounded as if she threatened him.
