Kalmar shot a cold glare at Blane, "I am not a demon. I was sent here by a strange man to claim my redemption and rid me of this corruption.. but things didn't turn out as they should have." The Demon Hunter shook his head, flexing his disfigured hand angrily.

"Well, if you're so concerned about us," Meta said, "why do you not fight alongside us?" She knew with half a mind the being(s) would decline, and thus wasn't fully serious about it, but there was always that small chance.

"I'll have my eye on you..." Blane said flying off into the sunset.

Blazen and stopped to watch Blane fly off. "Where's he going?" Blazen asked as he turned to Kalmar. He stopped relitivly close to thier destination. The force being close.

Poor soul, he wouldn't understand even if I stopped him and explained.

Kalmar heard Blazen and turned to him, "I don't know. I assume that he'll be back, though." I'll have my eye on you... he had said.

He turned to their destination, still wondering what could have made this barrier. "So, shall we find out what this power source is?" Kalmar kept his voice level, staring to where he could feel the energy radiating from.

R.D. leapt forward and grabbed Taliban up onto his feet, wrapping his arms around on Taliban's as hard as he could to pin him. He yelled at Matt. "Work your magic!"

===At Nevada===

"Yes, there are others. Two of them have been found, the others will also be found," Bahamut confirmed, "But you should only concern yourself with rebuilding the Chronoscepter."

===At Germany===

Only a few miles away into a forest, Kalmar and Blazen would be able to find a small home that was locked tight.

"Damn it, R.D., I dunno any magic tricks..." Matt muttered with a slur, trying his best to stand despite the reeling blow he had been dealt. This, of course, wasn't good, especially considering how Taliban was doing his damndest to get free-he soon succeeded, wrestling himself away from R.D. and backing away, eyeing those that now confronted him. Soma raised his hand again and fired more web, leaping backwards as Taliban now attempted to move toward him and attack.

"Oh no you don't!" R.D. shouted as he maneuvered back between Taliban and Soma, swinging around with a roundhouse kick at the wolfman's head. Alasea ran over to Matt and tried to keep him standing. "You okay?" she asked worriedly.

Bryant nodded and looked to the crystal again. "How many pieces of the Chronosceptar are left then?" Bryant asked, getting as much info as possible.

"I would assume there." Blazen responded pointing to a far off forest. "If anywhere...there. I think we're in Germany as that is most likely the Black Forest." Blazen said in thought as he proceeded.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Matt said, quickly dusting off his jeans. "But we gotta hold down Taliban so I can try to figure out what the hell went wrong."

R.D.'s kick connected with Taliban's face-now even more livid, the wolfman attempted to counter with a leaping kick that rose into the air, with a mighty howl.

R.D. made a strangled noise as the kick sent him reeling back and causing him to fall over. He kicked his legs up, propelling himself back onto his feet. He immediately threw his head low and tried to ram the wolfman back with his shoulder, and renew his assault.

===At Nevada===

"There are six remaining pieces," Bahamut said, "Someone considerably higher than myself requested that the pieces be found."

"That's correct," said a soft voice behind the Hartnetts. The Child was suddenly standing behind them, looking at them with intent. The ragged hood of his clothing had been pulled over his head, shadowing his face slightly. "I have a warning for you three concerning the weapon."

(OOC: Well, instead of "He" there stood "The", so I assumed it was to be "They". Thus, Legion. Besides, his companions have already shown up again once.)

"Hm, interesting." Gilgamesh noted.

Meta smiled at Shouten, her right hand on the handle of one of her swords that hung by her waist. "I hope you don't mind me dealing out some death of my own, dear Shouten, since I am planning on doing so quite a lot." She slowly unsheathed a blade and gestured about. "And I have the feeling my companions feel the same way as I do."

Bryant turned around, followed by Veronica and Brandon. Bryant quirked a brow and walked to the child. "And what would that be?" He asked boldly.

"That if you are in danger of losing any of the pieces to the enemy, that you will destroy it. Without all of the pieces, the Chronoscepter cannot function," the Child said, "If the Chronoscepter cannot be completed, the enemy cannot use it against us."

The Child looked up slightly at them, revealing his swirling whirlpools of eyes. It would be obvious to the Hartnetts that he was not human.

"Another piece is hidden near," he said, and lifted up a hand. He pointed at them, and a swirling maelstrom of energy surrounded it, releasing hypnotic waves of force around the three humans, practically downloading the knowledge of the location into each of their minds.

Bryant nodded once the info is in. He then turned to Bahamut, he was about to speak, but insted kept quiet. Because of thier luck, any given information would be fatal. He shook his head to himself. "Bahamut, Dragon King, I fear I can't tell you where we can go." Bryant said reluctantly, Brandon and Veronica gave him questioning looks. Bryant then turned back to the Child. "Despite your size...you seem powerful. Think you can bring something up to give us a ride?" Bryant asked politely.

Bahamut nodded to Bryant, knowing their situation. The Child actually smiled. "And here I was hoping you could give me a challenge," he said. He turned slightly and waved his hand. A short ways in a space between all the dragons, a dazzling prismatic light shone, growing brighter and brighter. The dragons and the Child had no problem in looking at the light, but the humans might not be used to it. The dark shape of a vehicle began forming in the center of the light.

The Hartnetts sheilded thier eyes from the light using thier hands. Brandon looked first at the vehicle. He then smiled and chuckled.

"Hey...look." Brandon said casually as the other two lowered thier hands to look.

The vehicle was large, about the size of a tank. It was a bright silver besides four black slits. In the bottom two were lights for head lights. Between them were several other lights, smaller ones most likely. On the top was a tripple barrel cannon, apparently fitted for rockets. Under that was a hole with another tripple barrel weapon. However this was a heavy chaingun, armed with 50cal chains. The sides were slide open doors. In the back were two rocket boosters for speed.

Bryant stared in awe as did Veronica. Brandon was smirking to the sight. "Let's check it out." Brandon said walking to the war machine.

Brandon slid open the door and inside were computers, radars, ammo, weapons and several chairs for all the positions. The one for the cannon and chaingun was adjustable for the guns used. The weapons inside were, revolvers, 9mm, M16 with M206 under barrel attachment, Sadars, AK47's, Heavy Machin Guns, Semi-Auto Sniper Rifles, and a large number of gernades.

"I think we could take on every world's army with this." Bryant said as he stared at the weapons and the other two did as well, hardly having anything more to say. Bryant then popped his head out. "It's good!" He called.

"The Black Forest, sounds a fitting name." Kalmar nodded and started off to where Blazen had pointed, which happened to be where the energy signature was radiating from.

The group soon came upon a small cabin, and upon a quick inspection it was found to be locked. The feeling was greater around the cabin.

Kalmar turned to look around, glancing at Blazen, "Who do you think lives here? And where are they?" The sky had begun to darken again, the trip having taken longer due to the speed restrictions.

Along with night coming, because of the dense trees, the area was darker still (hense the name Black Forest). Blazen inspected the cabin as well. "I dunno..." He said in thought and walked to the left side. There he found a window and peered inside to see the normal things a cabin would have...with a more feminine touch. "I would assume a girl...however the likelyness of her being alive is low because of the way things are. The pressence could be deeper inside the forest." Blazen proposed.

The Child pressed the palms of his hands together and bowed. "It was a remarkably simple feat," he stated, "But I made sure it suited your style of combat."

"It is time for us to go," Bahamut rumbled, looking to the sky for some reason. He then looked down at the humans. "Good luck, young ones. You will need it."

The dragons all took to the sky, quickly flying out of sight. The illusion barrier remained there, however, leaving the Hartnetts and the Child alone. The Principality of Observation looked at them in the vehicle with no visible emotion in his eyes. "You must be careful," he said softly, "Then end of the current Age is coming swiftly, and with it comes great change. Old things are returning, new things are being born. You must be wary in this dying world."

As Taliban was in the air, something suddenly dropped on him-anyone who had paid any attention toward the space above would have noticed someone inadvertently plummeting downwards to the scene. Those familiar with what pinned the wolfman to the ground would realize her as Helena, holding a tense Hugo while her awkward wings tried to recover some sort of order.

"Hey, all right!" Matt called. "Good job, Helena!"

Hugo, meanwhile, found his eyes roaming fron vertigo. "Ugh...mental note. Never do that again."

"Sorry," Helena said, her wings folding to lay neatly over her back.

"All right!" R.D. exclaimed. "Helena, grab the legs! Alli, grab an arm!"

Alasea nodded and dashed over and grabbed one of the arms, while R.D. grabbed the other one, and the two of them attempted to keep his limbs pinned so he can't break free. "Whenever you're ready, Matt!" R.D. shouted.

Kalmar nodded and turned to look deeper into the Black Forest. Night was quickly approaching, along with the dense trees the sky was almost black above them.

"Maybe we should stop here to rest. It's getting dark, and I don't know what comes out at night here.. yet." Kalmar looked at Blazen for a sign of confirmation or for the man to formulate a different plan.

Quite suddenly, an immense wave of power washed over Blazen and Kalmar, causing them a strange, prickling feeling across their entire bodies.

In the valley that housed the Pillar of Dawn, Ellie was practically dancing in anticipation. If that doesn't attract them, I don't know what will! she thought excitedly.

Bryant nodded before re-entering the vehicle. He closed the door and sat down in the driver's seat. Veronica was seated by the more tech area, with radars and such. Brandon was in the seat for the two triple barrel weapons.

Bryant turned the key to the start the powerful engine. He then turned into first gear and pressed the gas. He started off and made a sharp turn towards thier destination. Then they sped off to where they needed.

Blazen shivered a bit then looked towards where the feeling came from. "I assume over there." Blazen said as he recovered from his moment.

"My guess is that we aren't allowed to know until it is so far?" Gilgamesh informed. "That person's death, I mean?"
