There was a brief silence between Minerva & Vagabond before the sound of battle could be heard in the distance. The two looked at each other, and then in the direction of the noise. Quickly, they ran down the street, which had been torn to pieces and was covered in rubble.
After a moment they saw a lone warrior who was wearing armor nearly identical in style to Vagabond's. However, where Vagabond's armor was like white gold his was as black as tar, and where Vagabond's armor was red the other man's armor was a dark green. He stood at roughly six-foot three, and was a well built man. He was well tanned, but not to the point that he could pass as an islander, and he had thick, long black hair that was in a large pony tail, which came out of the back of his somewhat Spartan-looking helmet. He had on his left arm a fair-sized shield made of the same substance his forearm guards were made of, and in his right hand he held a double-edged sword much like Vagabond's, only with a black hilt and a dark green blade.
The lone warrior was engaged in combat against a small group of shadow-creatures, which he slaid in a matter of seconds with rather amazing skill.
Vagabond glared at the man before him. It was unmistakable--the armor, the hair, and everything. "Ares." He said with a bit of hate.
The man turned around, and his dark green eyes locked onto Vagabond. "Well, well... Mars." He said with a faint grin that showed just a hint of his sadistic nature. There was a brief silence as Ares looked Vagabond up and down. "Lookin' good. I thought you would've dead before now." He said, and then his grin broadened a bit as he let out a small laugh.
"Don't hold your breath." Vagabond said angrily as he gripped his hilts a bit tighter.
Ares looked at Vagabond's hands, and saw that he had tightened his grip on his swords. "So Mars," he started as he looked back to Vagabond's face, "we gonna pick up where we left off?" He asked as he assumed a fighting stance.
"I thought you'd never ask!" Vagabond, now identified as Mars, said as he got ready to fight.
"I believe it was your move, yes?" Ares said with a cocky grin.
"Fine by me!" Mars exclaimed, and then raced toward Ares with every intent to kill him.

Cora didn't begin circling Alasea, but instead she just stood there, and followed her with her eyes. "Very well..." She said with a small smile. "Take your best shot, kid." She said as she thumbed her nose, not feeling as if she was in any real danger.
