Matt's hand shot out and grabbed Terranox's wrist. His grip tightened with amazing strength. "Obsession..."

An aura began building from his form as he glared up at Terranox. "You taught me obsession!"

Before Terranox could even wonder what in the hell Matt was babbling about, the denim-clad attacked with a vicious left hook, intending to knock away the demon. "WA-TAAAA!"

Helena flapped her wings, soaring toward the Devil Dragon, and bringing her shoulder foward, smashed into the creature to knock it off balance.

Terranox's eyes widened briefly before Matt's fist slammed against his snout, sending him sprawling down to the ground below. The demon disappeared into the throng below, and a ways off, R.D. found himself blasted away from Xazax's attack.

The Devil Dragon bellowed as Helena slammed into it, but it barely moved in the air, as Helena's small frame was not enough to knock it aside. The monstrosity's claw shot up to grasp at the dragon girl's throat, and its eyes glared malevolently.

===In Germany===

The Devil Guardian continued to roar, its mouth spewing a strange, purple flame as it bellowed. The violet gem embedded in its sternum flashed, and a field of dark power wrapped around the beast, phasing out the attacks of the Demon Hunter. The monster's head whipped down violently, spitting a blast of dark energy down at Kalmar as he attempted to rise up from beneath.

"Burning Sword!"

A blade of flame erupted from the end of Hugo's pickaxe, and he stabbed at the Devil Dragon's incoming claw with it. "Back off, asshole!"

Matt's gaze caught R.D. being knocked away by Xazax. Looks like he could use a little help. He shot down at Xazax, leading the way with a foot engulfed in flames. "Red Hot Kick!"

The fiery blade emitting from Hugo's pickaxe pierced through the hard scales on the Devil Dragon's claw, but the appendage continued on unimpeded, the monster's strength easily outmatching Hugo's. The claw dispersed the weapon, and the nightmarish creature screamed with rage as it sent its arm crashing down at Helena's body to send her plummeting into the ground.

Down on the surface of the canyon, a black blur was racing through the horde of demons, getting to a certain part. Terranox suddenly erupted from the mass of demons, shooting up into the air at the bespectacled boy, and strange, red and orange armor covered his right arm. His canine face was twisted in a maniacal sneer, and he forced his fist out with a cry of, "Shocking First BULLET!"

Fist met foot, and the armored length of Shell Bullet released a tectonic shockwave at Matt, intending to blast him out of the sky.

Kalmar summoned his own shield of corrupted energy, absorbing most of the Devil Guardian's blast. He grunted in pain as the shield gave way moments before he left the blast, leaving him slightly burnt and injured over various places on his body.

Damn, I guess it's time for a new plan. Kalmar quickly formulated such a plan and decided to inform Blazen of such.

"Blazen! Go for the gem on it's chest!" Upon yelling this the Demon Hunter quickly rose above the beast and began raining down a massive volley of corrupted fire orbs at the Devil Guardian.

By carefully placing his feet and maneuvering his body, Anubis managed to dodge all of ZetsumeiRyu's punches and kicks by mere half inches. "You are slow to my eyes, ZetsumeiRyu." He spoke to the dragoon. "There is more to fighting than punches and kicks."

Helena roared in pain as the Devil Dragon's claw smashed into her, sending the smaller dragon hurtling down.

"FUCK YOU!" Hugo shouted, firing a few potshots at the bothersome nightmare as he fell along with Helena.

Matt grit his teeth at the sudden impact. Pushed back, he recoiled through the air, until he managed to regain control-it was a good shot, but thankfully he wasn't hurt too much. Still...Shocking First Bullet, eh?

"Your kung-fu is good!" Matt remarked, landing on the ground. He spread his legs, smirking. "But now it's time to meet Shell Bullet's big brother!" Chunks of earth disappeared around his feet, reforming into multicolored particles that bonded to his lower legs. Reforming into a new shape, the particles changed into shocking pink and silver boots. "Radical Good Speed-Wheels Unlimited!"

Terranox snarled and reared back, falling into a ready stance, his right fist clenched hard. A black, vapory aura of darkness surrounded his form, and his arm chambered backwards. And then he was blasting forward, spinning along a gout of emerald flame, tearing up the ground behind him as he attacked with "Annihilating Second Bullet!!"

The Devil Dragon snarled as it folded its wings back, diving down at Helena's plummeting form, ignoring the fireballs that pinged off of its armored hide.

Spinning halfway around, his boot trailing green flame, Matt launched at Terranox, leading the way with a dynamic straight kick-his own "Annihilating Second Bullet!"

"Helena!" Hugo shouted at the dragon beneath him. "Come on, get up! We need ya!"

Her eyes snapped open. That's right...they needed her!

Her wings flared, catching air and ceasing her descent. She wouldn't let them down!

At once, an aura of heat began gathering about Helena, and she launched herself up at the Devil Dragon with a single smashing flap of her wings. As she soared the aura intensified, until it formed a draconic image surrounding her, like a blazing bullet.

Fist struck foot, and lightning flared everywhere, tearing apart the ground as it trailed across it. The power of the two attacks created a shockwave that blasted across the battlefield, and ignited a massive explosion between Terranox and Matt. Fire and smoke billowed around them, and Terranox soared backwards out of it, swearing as pieces of the Shell Bullet on his arm disintegrated away, cracks running along its length. He landed hard on his feet, and snarled.

Overhead, the Devil Dragon screeched in defiance, a field of greenish flame trailing from the spikes on its body like streamers. It ignited all around the nightmarish creature, a winged comet of unholy fire, and as its screech continued, a heat beam lanced out from its mouth down at the soaring Helena.

Withdrawing his leg, Matt landed easily. They had rocked out hard all over the place-ignoring the destruction, Matt remained focused on his opponent. "Hey, come on, come on!" he taunted. "Get SERIOUS!"

Helena's aura tore into the beam, splitting it apart down the middle. She let out a curdling roar, driving foward to smash into the Devil Dragon.

"COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-!" Hugo shouted, brandishing his Burning Sword.

"Fine," Terranox snarled, "Serious it is. You asked for it."

Suddenly, the smoke cleared, and there were pink and silver armor around Terranox's legs and feet, and he blasted across the field in a blink of an eye, his feet flashing out at Matt's head as a wake of green fire was left behind him.

The Devil Dragon and Helena crashed into each other thunderously, the yellow and green flames surrounding each raging around them. In the end, the Devil Dragon's weight prevailed, and the two beasts plummeted towards the ground, with the roaring Devil Dragon gripping Helena's shoulders in a pile drive.

Alasea, about to open her mouth to continue the chant, blinked in surprise as the dark warrior appeared before her. Everything seemed to stop.

Alasea raised a hand and pointed up into the sky, at the hundreds of clones. "Pick one?" she suggested hesitantly.

Alasea looked up and frowned. "Huh. Nice trick," she muttered. She drank in the power of the Pillar of Dawn, and it began to glow brightly. A wave of power swept outwards from the totem, washing over the clones to reveal them, and across the dark dragoon and the Daughter of Dawn. As it did, Alasea sensed the broken fragments of a soul within ZetsumeiRyu, and frowned.

"I'd say she's using illusions," she said, "This should reveal them to you."

Alasea frowned and resisted the urge to slap this newcomer, and wondered briefly if she should complete the chant and use it on both Cora and ZetsumeiRyu. However, when something shot through her mind, her eyes widened and she turned away.

Alasea! A young woman's voice suddenly shouted in her mind, We've got trouble!

Trouble? What kind of trouble, Colleen? she asked telepathically to the Daughter of Dawn in North America.

An old enemy of your's is doing something he shouldn't off in a research lab in Canada, Colleen replied, her psychic voice frantic, You remember Re-Tuul, right?

A brief flash of an eyeless, grinning demon appeared in her mind and was gone. Alasea's eyes widened in shock.

What? What's he done!?

That lab is where the Khaglessi were manufactured, Alasea! He could create more of his foul kind, and then Ziatoch will have a force to compete with the Za-Fuzen and the Reaverbots!

Alasea swallowed and looked over at ZetsumeiRyu, and in Cora's direction. Her expression hardened as an idea came to her. "You," she said, motioning to the dark dragoon, "What do you know of a demon named Re-Tuul?"

"My... colleagues," Alasea started, choosing her words carefully, "have reason to believe that he's trying to recreate his race. He's in some research lab in Canada."

While she spoke, she wondered just what he had meant by "Re-Re."

Blazen raised his arms and crossed them over his torso and brought up his legs and curled them over his lower body. He knew this would be a fairly petty defense, thus a black heated aura surrounded Blazen quickly as he went to black fire, using the extra defense from darkness attacks to help him sustain the attack. The quick heated bonus in his body was actually quite refreshing as well. It allowed Blazen an extra boost similar to a minor adrenaline rush. Blazen then would suddenly spread his limbs forcing the darkness away from him. The heat within his body slowly lowered as his hair and clothes went back to the snow white color.

Blazen looked to the gem on the creature's chest as Kalmar preoccupied the beast. Blazen drew Valermos, the flames quickly coming to life around the blade. The flames turned to a white color as the god added his own mystical heat into the sword. Blazen then charged quickly to the gem. He would not waste a moment. With both hands tightening on the hilt of the flaming sword, Blazen rushed at the gem. Blazen would then put all of his physical power into his arms and would slash strongly at the gem. He hoped he would make at least a small cut, and hoped it would weaken the guardian.

"YOU FUCKING CHEATER!" Matt shouted, just as Terranox's kick smashed into his face, sending him hurtling toward the sky.

Helena shrieked deeply, in pain, as the Devil Dragon's tremendous weight bore down on her. If she hit the ground-no! She...it couldn't be over yet!

Then Hugo attacked.

The Mettaur leapt up, past Helena's draconic snout, rising up to the Devil Dragon's forehead. "BASTARD!" He whipped back the Burning Sword, switching the grip to stab. "DIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!"

He swung, driving the point of the Burning Sword clean through the Devil Dragon's forehead, burying its length within the monster.

Grooves dug themselves in the main section of the pickaxe, charged with red power. "Ignite!"

With that command, all the gathered energy in the Burning Sword launched, exploding into a juggernaut of eruption, searing flames bursting from the orifices of the nightmarish dragon.

The Devil Dragon's roar was strangled off as the Burning Sword cleaved through its skull and into its brain, charring it. And as the angry Mettaur dispersed the flame into its skull, the entire head exploded in a violent splash of flesh, blood, and bone. Headless, the corpse of the nightmarish monstrosity plummeted with Helena, driving them towards the ground, as if it were a final, defiant act of the massive creature.

Atop the canyon, Michael stopped his strumming to watch as Hugo destroyed the Devil Dragon, and grinned slightly. "Nice."

Xazax slammed R.D. away from him just as he heard the explosion, and looked off. "Dammit!" he roared in anger as he saw his summon destroyed. Distracted, he never saw as R.D. drove his fist into the demon's gut, but Xazax quickly recovered and grabbed his arm and slammed him hard into a stone wall of the canyon, then flung him into the crowd of demons, where he disappeared.

The slots on Terranox's boots split open, and he was blasted into the sky, quickly catching up to the airborne Matt. Activating another Bullet, the canine demon drove his foot downward at Matt's stomach to send him crashing back down to the ground.

===In Japan===

Alasea snorted derisively and looked to the side. "Feel free to take the skank with you, she's getting on my nerves," she muttered, "Save us both some trouble."

Alasea sighed and leaned back, digging the point of the Megami Tsurugi into the ground. "As for the lab... I don't know. Somewhere in Quebec," she said, as Colleen relayed the information to her, "I'm sure your... friends... won't have any problem locating it."

===In Germany===

As Blazen shot forward at the Devil Guardian, the beast roared, the explosions of corrupted energy covering its frame. The jewel in its chest flared with malevolent light, flashing intermittently as energy gathered around it. A wave of energy blasted into life around the entirety of the Devil Guardian, and Valermos glanced off the shield, leaving a trail of sparks along the cut. The Devil Guardian's claw rose upwards violently to slap the offending God out of its way.

The explosion sent Hugo flying backwards-Helena could distantly hear the Mettaur's shout, but remained focused on the heavy corpse of the Devil Dragon. If she could just turn it around...!

She grabbed the sides of the corpse, straining, straining to turn the body around. The ground kept rushing up to meet her-she couldn't do it-!

As Helena drove into the ground, the body of the Devil Dragon burying her underneath a mass of nightmarish flesh, Terranox's Bullet tore into Matt, and the boy hit the earth with a thunderous impact.

Terranox landed easily on the ground with one foot as the demons backed away from him and the fallen bodies of the two dragons. The canine demon grinned and stared at the fallen form of Matt. "You wanted me to get serious, kid," he sneered, "On your head be it."

The demon pivoted in a full circle, his foot cutting a groove in the cracked dirt, and then he was up in the air, the dull rays of the sun silhouetting him. He chambered his foot back as a blaze of emerald erupted from it, and he spiraled down at the prone form of Matt, cutting through the air like a giant buzzsaw.

"Rapid-Kill Final Bullet!"

"...I didn't mean it, douchebag."

Matt raised a palm at Terranox. "Mystic Trap!"

Appearing behind Terranox, Hierophant Green unwound its appendages. They stretched across the air, slowing down Terranox's descent, and electricity charged across their limbs to electrocute the demon.

Terranox swore silently as Matt summoned Hierophant Green once more, and knew it'd be a pest until he got rid of it. The green flames of his propulsion burned at the appendages of the Stand, bulging it outwards, only for him to rebound--exactly as he planned. He was now ripping through the air at the Stand, and as he came in range, Terranox's armored foot cleaved through the air right at Hierophant Green's chest.

"Not so fast!"

Seizing Terranox's shoulder, Matt turned the demon to face him. A right hook tore across the demon's snout, setting it up.

Matt's low cutting blow smashed into Terranox's ribcage. "Shin-"

His right fist tore upwards, carrying both fighters into the air with a fiery blow. "SHORYUKEN!"
