Sin: If you must know, I'm here on accord of the Nightmare God. I'm attempting to stop his son from awakening "Mother", even though I am very much opposed from this decision... And fortunatly for you, I am not here to do what I am made for...

Awai listened closely to what Sin had to say, and once he had finished the Light Balance couldn't help but wonder two things: first, who was this Mother, and second, who was the Nightmare god's son? "When you say 'his son', do you mean Akumu?" Awai asked calmly.

*Sin kept his eerie smile in place, as though it was stuck there and unable to change.

Sin: Yes... The Nightmare God told me his son's story. It is true, I am talking about the one who you are referring to. Luckily, my brother isn't of the Nightmare God's blood, so he isn't exactly a son. He is nothing more than a machine of destruction, created by the hatred and anger of one other... In fact, now that I think about it... my other task is one that you will not approve of...

Sin: I must release my brother's hatred for everything around him. He is made by pure hate that was bottled up for a many of long years. This hate was made by one called Zane Truesdale, now knowing only love. When this hate was still with Mr. Truesdale, it was directed at an Ancient known as Juno.

Mercy returned the smile Alasea had given him, and then turned back to Sin.

"Heh." Awai let out a small laugh after hearing the last part of Sin's reply. "His fan club just keeps growing, and growing." He said sarcastically, merely thinking aloud. "So what exactly is the point in releasing the hate within Akumu?" The Light Balance questioned the evil being before him.

Sin: Like I said... He is a being of pure hate. If I release this hate, he will no longer exist, and, unfortunately, that hate will still reside to return to Mr. Truesdale. But in the long run, I will be finally free of that pest. As long as that fool Kuro doesn't come back and release my brother again...

Sin: ...Hmm. I understand you have a job to do to protect this earth as the Balance of Light, but I dont understand why you even bother. The problems here come one after another. Even if you succeed to rid this earth of these problems, there will always be evil in the hearts of men... I am proof of that. I was born using all of the sins banished from this world by the Holy One and a drop of my father's blood.

*Sin looked around, his smile unchanging.

Sin: After all these years of you protecting this Earth, and look where it got you. You should actually start with a plan before you attack. It doesn't have to be a physical
form of action. In fact, you beings are so helpless I'll even give you some guidance. Wait a month before attacking these 7 beasts... They will begin to get cocky, soon they will think they are victorious. Then they will rest after all the energy they used by trying to reshape this earth. That will be the perfect opportunity to attack them...

"First," Awai started, "I am the Light Balance, I make sure that light does not grow more powerful than darkness, it is the job of the Dark Balance to do the same for evil." He said commonly. "Second, do not speak ill of the dead, especially when it's Kuro. Though he was not exactly one of my favorite people, he was no fool--his knowledge was far greater than yours, I'm sure." He said sternly. "Besides, Kuro has a knack for coming back from the dead, so I really wouldn't suggest talking bad about him." Said Awai. "Lastly, as Alasea said, one of The Seven has already been defeated."

Sin: And you seem to be forgetting who I am. You also seem to be forgetting that Kuro was the Dark Balance only for this dimension and all realms connected to it. I came from a whole different dimension. How do you know that there are not stronger beings out there within the number of dimensions reaching to infinity?

Awai smiled somewhat smugly at Sin as he started his reply. "I feel your power, Sin." He stated. "You're in my world now, and thus I can sense your level of power, and believe me when I say: you do not rival the late Dark Balance." He paused a brief moment, and then continued. "I don't suppose you know about the E.D.C.?" Awai asked.

Mercy's focus quickly darted over to Awai as he heard the 3 letter spoken. Something deep within him had been triggered at the sound of those three letters, he knew what they stood for, and the story behind them.

Sin: Like I said, I am here on one mission only. Therefore, my father only granted me power enough to carry out that mission. About the matter of those letters spoken, should I know what they mean?

"The E.D.C. was formed many, many years ago. The letters stand for-" Awai was cut off by the young child, Mercy.
"Eight Dimension Council." The piece of the Sadistic One's soul stated as old memories of Xastra's life started racing through his mind.
Awai looked back at the boy, a little surprised that he knew so much about Xastra's life. "That's right." The Light Balance confirmed, and then looked to Sin once more. "A long time ago Kuro discovered a way to cross into other dimensions. However, something occured that the past Dark Balance did not intend on, the portals didn't close." Said Awai. "Though they did not act as blackholes, and merely suck everything around them in, they did permit other beings to jump from one dimension to another. As you should have guessed, this presented quite a problem in the balance." He said calmly. "So, one day, some odd weeks after Kuro had traveled to a total of seven different dimension, the Light and Dark Balances of the seven other dimensions came to this world to make known the problems taking place in their worlds, and disgus a solution. Thus, the E.D.C. was formed."
Mercy listened closely to what Awai was saying, more memories flooding his mind.
"A am sure you are aware of the fact that the Dark Balances of each world and/or dimension bares the power of all the evil beings in his or her dimension. So, that would mean that the Dark Balance of your world has power greater than you and your father, yes?" Said Awai.

Sin: The only thing more powerful than you keepers of light and darkness are the gods. True, I came from a totally different dimension, a dimension that I know only about its sins. But I was born in a deathrealm for earth, created by my father. With the way my father built that deathrealm, or the Nightmare Realm as it is called, it has a mind of its own. My father dubbed that realm its own "Dark Balance" as you may call it. My father calls them "Keepers". My father dubbed his past self, as the Keeper of Light. It may be confusing... but his past self has access to its future, thus, because he couldn't find any other one... Well, you get the picture. Anyway, for some reason, his own realm created through the use of his mind, has been working against my father with him knowing. At first my father dismissed it as another problem that could easily be taken care of. But my father didn't know how it came about. Soon this problem seemed to have disappeared. But it was still going on, working slowly to become stronger. Eventually, it was strong enough to enter my father's mind without him knowing. He used to be very understanding and even had a completely different personality. But then he became apathetic to his children, then he became cruel torwards the many dead that entered his realm and tortured them. Now my father knows, so he split his mind and body to keep this clouding at bay. He now has two bodies, one of them has already entered this world before. Luckily my father was able to speak through him and control him for a small amount of time. He managed to even help a shapeshifter become a god. This new reality shifter is our last hope for my now weakened father. I may be Sin Incarnate, but my father taught me to care for him. But soon the Keeper of the Dark's invasion of my father's mind will be completed. And that comes to my most important task, which is to find this new reality shifter known as Morphman.

Sin: Hmm?

*A pitch black shade, representing a fairly powerful being descended to the ground. It came out of thin air, in front of Sin. It then spoke in an anceint Obsidian language to Sin. Sin nodded when it was finished, then the shade turned into a watery-like smoke and blew away.

Sin: I'm afraid my father's condition is worsening now, and I must be going. He told me where to find Morph, but it wasn't exact. Can you point me in the direction of the Beast Hydro?

Specially appointed Balance or not, the original still bares his father's power, and Sin's. Awai thought to himself.

Mercy examined the strange man known as Sin, and then looked at Awai, wondering why he had brought up the E.D.C. "Hm..." The child let out quietly.

"I'm afraid my father's condition is worsening now, and I must be going. He told me where to find Morph, but it wasn't exact. Can you point me in the direction of the Beast Hydro?" Awai heard Sin ask. "Meta." The Light Balance corrected. "He has been changed into a new being named Meta. As for Hydro, he wanders the oceans, killing those who dare to appose him and his master."
"Indian Ocean." Said Mercy. "The sea serpent named Hydro is in the Indian Ocean near Africa." He added after tracking the evil energy and lifeforce energy of Hydro.

~Indian Ocean~

Hydro acted quick, knowing that if the girl was alive and within him she could easily kill him. The mighty sea serpent transformed his entire body into water, thus releasing Meta from his body before she could stab his heart. The liquified monster merged with the ocean, and appeared to be no more. However, that was not so. A moment later a man rose up out of the ocean, and just stood on the water.

Sin: Thank you.............. If I am to return, with my full power of the 7 Deadly Sins, I will be all too happy to prove you wrong about...

*Sin looked at Alasea.

Sin: ...Kuro. You know, at one point or another, I will get my scream from you... See you later...

*And with that said, Sin sunk into the earth, later, reappearing behind Meta. As he reappeared, he took the form of the black, liquid-like smoke jutting out of the water. The part of him that was in the water began spreading, turning the water a sickly, dirty blackish green.

Sin: I have come for you "Meta", on the behalf of the Nightmare G--... Wow. I never knew you would want to shift yourself female, your not... are you? Heh... you even look to be about 12 years old! How old were you before this... little transformation. Trying to look young again?

*Sin looked around, noticing a man standing on the water.

Sin: And I suspect you to be Hydro, according to the energy pulses you're giving out... You don't look beastly at all... You look pathetic, taking on the form of man. Unless you find it to be amusing that you took such a form like I do...
