*The smoke then started to clear, and they were able to see a man where Reckoning was, kneeling*

*The man was Reckoning, but he had gone back to his original form*

*Akumu hovers towards Thresh\'s body and absorbs his soul.

*Kouken looked over at Jaden Yuki who was leaving with some guy*

*Kouken turns to Juno*

Akumu: His weakness is not very hard to find. I\'ve fought him before. When he struck me all I felt in him was spite. You don\'t need me to fight him. He also isn\'t all that powerful, he uses illusion and mesmerises to gain an advantage. Now ask yourself this what his illusion\'s weakness? Goodbye for now.

* And then Akumu hovers for the nearest shadow and makes it dark enough to be pitch black. He steps into it. Juno then rushes toward the shadow but Akumu has vanished...

Kouken: \"So, ya think Akumu was telling the truth?\"
Juno: \"Huh?\" *Turns back to Kouken* \"About what?\"

Juno: \"Even though Akumu did help us out we must never forget that he is the spawn of NightShade, and there for cannot be fully trusted.\"

*Up on top of a really tall tree near by the ship, a figure watches the crew*
???: \"Interesting... However, I cannot say that I\'m surprised they won. With Juno and Kouken on their side, their nearly unstopable. Plus, Jaden Yuki has finally decided to join in on the fights. Hrr. He is going to be a big thorn in my side. Hah. No matter, I\'ll get rid of him first, then the guardian. Then, it looks like I\'ll have to kill Blazen too.\" Thought he was dead. \"Nevertheless, then Juno will be mine.\"

In The NetherRealm:

*Akumu hovers towards an Oni-Demon.

Akumu: Have you seen any shifting shadows lately?

*The oni reconizes the power underneath the torn cloak.

*Akumu takes a long black knife and and slaughters the demon.

Akumu: This is too easy. Soon, NightShade will come back to earth, and this time, I will be too powerful to be his servant. He will have too obey MY commands now. Mwahahaha!!!...........

Juno: \"No!\"
Goku: \"Well, why not?!\"
Juno: \"Cause for some reason you keep asking me, when I\'m not even the captian!\"

*Then, as NightShade smiled evilly at Nightmare, quickly the armor its self became gouka, then NS did as well*

NightShade: \"Indeed. And even you can\'t do that. This abillity can only be done by two--myself, and Reckoning.\"
Akumu: \"You know Reckoning?\"
NightShade: \"You always were a bit slow. I set Ryan Thresh free, and I\'m the one who made him Reckoning. I gave him his powers--his incredible control over gouka.\"
Akumu: \"Awe. No way. Reckoning was much more powerful than you ever were.\" :rolleyes:
NightShade: \"Don\'t be a fool, Akumu! I was merely toying with the S.S. CalmWaters, playing with the world! If I wanted to, I could\'ve destroyed everyone, with ease.\"
Akumu: \"Than why didn\'t you?\"
NightShade: \"Two reasons. One, I had to relese \'The Ultimate Evil\'. Two, I knew if I had stayed around you never would amount to anything!\"
Akumu: \"What?!\" :madgo:
NightShade: \"And now look at you. You have become far more powerful than when I first made you.\" :muha: \"But, you still can\'t hurt ME.\"

*NightShade had taken his right hand and shoved it through Akumu\'s chest*

NightShade: \"Because, you dared to oppose me.\"
*NightShade withdrew his hand from Nightmare, and watched his son quickly die*

Akumu: (Gasping) Father, you forget. We are in the NetherRealm. Who ever dies starts back in the well of beginnings.

Akumu: Grr. Reborning is such an irritating experience. <Akumu says as he climbs out of the Well.> I must go find my other body <the one that NS killed> before it fully deteriorates. Then I can absorb it and I will have double my power!
Letting NS kill me was all part of the plan.

*Akumu finds his body a couple meters from the well.

Akumu: That was fast.

*Akumu absorbs it and a new aura Red and Black circled around him.

Akumu: Mwahahahaha!!!

NightShade: \"Over there.\" *He said to Jaden as he pointed in the dirrection of Nightmare*
Jaden: \"You again! You\'re the guy who saved me from Houka. I never did get to thank you.\"
NightShade: \"Don\'t worry about it. I didn\'t do it for you anyways. Now, get going.\"
Jaden: \"Uhm, okay. Thanks anyways.\"
