Spikes shredded through the Dragon King Armor, R.D.'s reflexes barely able to prevent them from doing more than superficial damage to his body. That torn armor prevented R.D. from being protected as Bullet's attacks as he repeatedly blocked them as she lashed out. The rest of his armor was torn away by Zekter's claws as he used skillful manipulations of Chaos Control to better his own reflexes by slowing his opponents down.
As the final blow landed, nearly unhinging his jaw, R.D.'s body, clad is little more than the white bodysuit that the Dragon King Armor had formed, was thrown through the snow, cutting a groove in it. Blood saturated the snows as he lay still. It had seemed that the three of them had finally won.
That is, until R.D. twitched. His body spasmed slightly, and as bruised arm pushed one side of his body up, and R.D., grunting in pain and from effort, extracted himself from the cold ground, blood-matted brown hair in a wild array. He shakily stood on both feet, his body slumped forward slightly with one arm hanging down. His eyes were hidden from view by his hair, and silvery-blue lights floated from his body as the white bodysuit that was all that remained of his armor disappeared, his body now clad in the same clothing he normally wore, including the blue jacket he had found on the Riptide.
His shaking body stilled, his stamina returning thanks to Lumiya. If they could see past his hair, they'd know he was grinning. "That," he started, speaking to his no-doubt stunned opponents, "was not enough to beat me. You'll have to do better than that. You'll have to do a lot better than that if you want to defeat me."
Snow was melting around his form, as a heat mirage slowly emerged around him. Power was filling him, drowning him. He basked in it, as he took in Lumiya's power, suffusing him with more and more of it. His body was starting to glow a malevolent red. And there was a flash of light, and instantly, his body was covered in crimson energy molded to his form. His eyes were nothing more than bright white lights. A white circle surrounded by eight diamond shapes spreading out from it glowed on his head, as R.D. stood up straight.
He said not a word. His hands moved to his Phase Blades, also covered in that energy, and drew both, activating them.
Faster than any eye could follow, R.D. was gone, shredding the battlefield apart as he attacked Tech from every single angle imaginable, seemingly at once. Not one device of the man's would be spared from the instantaneous onslaught, his blades, sharper than anything imaginable and indestructible thanks to the expert craftings of the Isle, had aimed for every single piece of technology. After less than a split second, R.D. was on the other side of the battlefield, back to his opponents, Phase Blades held at his side.
Slowly, he turned around, staring at his opponents with those fathomless white eyes.
